Ava had slept on the couch that night. so, she had to sleep lightly and by morning, took a bath making breakfast then getting it to Kara in bed who was still sleeping.

"Hey! Kara. Wake up. You have to go to school."Ava knocked in shaking Kara from her sweet sleep.

"Hey! Morning. I'm I late?"

"No. You got an hour and a few minutes. You should take a shower and have your breakfast."

"You made me breakfast in bed?"

"You don't want it? I can throw it away."

"No. I was appreciating the effort. I feel like I have my mom with me.'

"Yeah? But I'm not." Replied Ava placing the tray at a draw heading to pick up her clothes then walking out. "Get ready. I will drive you to school. Then pick you up so we can go buy some groceries. "

"Thanks for the breakfast. I love it."

"Hurry up. You don't wanna be late."

Kara got out of bed as Ava was dressing in the living room. Made the bed heading to the bathroom.

"Oh! I put you a pot of hot water . thought you might need it." Ava spoke loudly to Kara who came to pick it from the kitchen finding Ava in her underwear with no bra. "It's still on."

Kara reached the pot taking off heading back to the bedroom closing the door behind her as she continued gazing at Ava secretly. Ava thought still felt her around turning to her back.

In about thirty minutes, Kara had finished showering and dressing up. Took a little of her breakfast rushing into the car were Ava was waiting.

Had the the door closed them drove off straight to manning university. Ava parked at the entrance of the school campus having Kara head out of the car as everyone kept gazing at them.

It seemed like the news of them both living together had already surpassed the whole town. Everyone had already been informed about the unflattering incident.

Being unflattering to the core of having everyone turning there foul faces. It was obvious that no one knew about Kara's sexuality nor Ava except Mr. Manning and principal Andrews.

After Kara had headed inside, Ava drove off to town. Parked at a petrol station heading out to a pay phone that was placed just across the station.

Went in, put a few coins inside dailing a number that rang for a sometime then picked up by a female.

"Hello, mom. How are you?" greeted she with an extensive smile.

"How are you honey? Ain't you supposed to be at school?"

"Yes. I amm but got suspended."

"What happened. What trouble did you get into now sweetheart?"

"Well, there is this bully boy at school. He is been harassing me and my friend Kara. He so violent. So I had to defend myself from him."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I just wanted to tell you that i was good. You remember Kara right?"

"The cute girl. Yes of course."

"Well. She's stays with me now at the cottage."

"How come?"

"Well, she had a fight with her father and decided to move in with me."

"You behave."

"Yeah. You know me mom. I'm just the good type."

"It's nice you called."

"I wanted to here your voice. Gets me going."

"What are you doing right now?"

"Well, I have to change the whole setting of the house since I have a guest. Bye some stuff."

"You like her. right?. Huh." Chuckled brenda.

"I guess. But I'm kinda of broken. I don't wanna mess anything up."

"But you deserve it. You need it and you know it."

"Alright . I need to head on."

"Sure. I will be sending you some money this weekend. "

"Thank you mother."

"Okay. Bye."

She hang up the phone walking out of the pay phone to a store. Got to a man who stood cleaning his flowers and greeted.

"Goodmorning sir?" Said she.

"Good morning miss Sinclair. How may I help you?"

"Well, I need someone who will help paint my house and fix a few things."

"Sure. Mr. Ben over there can be of good help." Replied the guy directing Ava to a young man about the age of thirty fixing a table. Brown short hair dressed in a black vest that got out his chest wildly. As Ava got closer, his eyes grew recognisable to a dark brown hint.

"Hello Mr. Ben. Good morning?" Snapped she.

"Good morning to you miss Sinclair. "

"I was wondering. Would you be available for a job. Today?"

"What kind of job miss?"

"Fixing a few broken stuff and painting."

"Sure. How much do you pay?"

"Don't worry about that, If most of the work is done by the end of today, then you will be rewarded dearly." Responded Ava.

"Were do I start?"

"We start by purchasing the paint I need. I eedInstant dry paint. I will need my walls all painted in white and the floor in black including the ceiling. I will also need help in cleaning the front. Maybe plant some flowers."

"I will get this done. Just head in to the next store two blocks from this and ask for fastdry paint including the equipment I must have."

"Okay then." Replied Ava walking out of the store then straight to where she was directed. Bought three tins of paint. Royal blue, white and black. Had them sent to her car including the painting brushes as she paid heading to seat in her car.

Within a few minutes, Ben came knocking at her window having her open up and he took a seat in his overoll then Ava set off to her place.

They reached the cottage. Had Ava open up to the scare of another gentleman who jumped off from the back.

"Why didn't you tell me you brought someone?"

"No difference. Meet Edgar and edgar meet miss Sinclair. He is my partner." Introduced Ben as they headed inside.
