"So! what do you think? Can a few of this get done before the end of the day?"

"Yeah! If you give a little hand. Me and my friend here can have alot done before the end of the day."

" Well okay. Tell me what I will need to do and we get started." Asked Ava.

"Well. Not too much. Can you just take a seat at the couch. You would be of great help if I kept watching you as I work." Explained Ben smirking.

"Oh yeah. Alright. I can seat right there on that couch." Pointed Ava. "But you don't get paid for your work. You gaze at me all the time and after you're done. Just snope out. Does that work for you?"

"Um.. I will take the pay."

"Well good then. You can start from the bedroom. And please don't touch were your not supposed to."

"You've been clear miss." Replied Edgar as they both headed inside Ava's bedroom.

Moved a couple of stuff from the way cleaning and placing the tiny holes. Ava though was in the seating room having a bear as she watched them do there work through the door.

"I think you should by a new bed Miss Sinclair. " said Ben loudly as Edgar bumped his arm to stop him from talking too much.

"You think so? What's wrong with that one? Is it broken?" Responded Ava inquiring.

"Not yet but I think it will soon."

"And you think you can sell me a bed?" Asked Ava.

"I don't sell beds." Chuckled Ben. "but Edgar's uncle does."

"So. Will I come over later to pick up a bed. Edgar?"

"Yes. That would be great. My uncle hasn't had customers in a while. Everyone's bed is functioning well. Some decide to sleep on the floor." Replied Edgar chuckling.

"Good then. I will be coming over with someone who will be choosing the bed."

"Kara?" Snapped Ben questioning.

"Do you people get informed about everything? Like everything." Asked Ava.

"Literally. Yeah. All thanks to stuart."

"I wanna meet this stuart? What's he like?"

"Well. He doesn't talk much. He is the son of Camilo Martinez. The owner of the manning daily news company."

"So his son delivers his paper. Why?"

"Well. He is the only one we don't know much about. You can't write and expose yourself. He only does that to the rest of the people."

"Yeah. I get it. So Kara's stay with me is already in the paper?"

"Not exactly. It was like. The Mayor's daughter runs away from home. Then the next day. She is seen with you. The rest well?"

"Right? How did they know? How did they know that Kara left her father. Oh.. he told the story himself."

"I guess." Responded Ben. Edgar in particular was quiet all the time as the two spoke about this and that. Stopping for a while then getting into it again.

At one in the afternoon, the bedroom was done including the bathroom as well.

Ava had made them lunch. Big plates of macaroni literally all she could find in her stock each with a bottle of beer and by one fifty, they had finished eating and getting back to work.

Ava was in the kitchen doing the dishes as Ben and Edgar began working on the leaving room.

"So. How long does this paint take to dry?" Inquired Ava.

"The bedroom is dry. With the fillings too. It only takes about fifteen minutes." Ben explained.

"Wow. Why don't people use this always. Like seriously. "

"It isn't that cheap you know."

"Yeah."

The boys kept working on as Ava cleaned up the bedroom. Placing a few things back as they were doing a little feng shui for the bed.

When all was done, she headed in to ask the boys if they would help her change the rest of the stuff in the kitchen including switching the couch and the tables.

She paid them after all there had work driving them back to town where they promised to do the remaining fixing the next day. She had Edgar direct her to where his uncle's store was then straight to manning university she drove.

She found Kara was just heading out of the entrance and when she picked an eye at the car, she rushed hurriedly down the building stairs straight inside.

"How are you?" Greeted Ava as she set off. "How was your day at school?"

"Cool. Quiet but cool. Martha just returned back from the hospital. "

"Who is Martha?"

"My friend. How was your day by the way?"

"Good, I made lunch. Took a beer and also cleaned the utensils. So. It was pleasing."

"That pleases you? Didn't you miss me?"

"I didn't have the time to."

" where are we heading?" Inquired Kara.

"Well someone told me my bed wasn't alright so we are going to get a new one."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. And since you take the bed. You will choose which you want." Replied Ava parking off at a store. BEDS and BEDS. They both headed inside finding an average aged man laying down on one of the bed snoring.

"Excuse me sir?" Called Kara as the guy startled waking. Bold he. Nearly chocolate in color with very bright brown eye balls.

"How may I help you miss Manning and your friend? I'm mr. Bradley Jones and you?

"You don't know me?" Asked Ava surprised as she gazed at the hand shake.

"Was I supposed to?"

"No.. not at all. At least for once I got to introduce myself to someone. I'm Ava Sinclair sir. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

"This guy deserves credit. For being the only less nosy one in this town."

"Talking about the morning paper? I don't read about that shit. Camilo is the reason my store hardly gets customers."

"We need a bed mr. Bradley. "Said Kara.

"Which size?Six by five. Six by six. A master bed?" Inquired he.

"Can we take a look around. See what you got and there prices. Would be great if you recommended one as well." Replied Ava.
