Everything seemed to be going so slow at the moment. I was scared, I was not sure what was about to happen to me. What if they tried it, and it did not work? What if it only made me hurt even worse? What if they just gave up and went back to camp?
Surely they would not give up on me, right? They knew that I was alive, and I knew that Silent and Owl would not let that happen either. But I still felt a bit scared, as I thought about it just a bit longer, until I felt the large rock that was above my head begin to move.
At first, it hurt a bit, as I felt a sharp bit of pain on my head, and I felt like I was going to yell in pain. But I also realized that I still was not able to do that in the first place anyways. As it slowly seemed like it was starting to work, as I felt a bit of cool air the more that I heard the rock move.
But then it seemed at the last second, just when I thought that they were going to pull me out, I heard all of them breathing quite a bit heavy, and I realized at the same time that they had stopped moving the rock as well, as it seemed as though they had run out of energy.
I began to grow a bit more scared, as it felt so cold with the wind flowing over my body. Could they not get me out? I did not know how big the rock was that was above my head, but if I had to guess, just based off of the pain I felt at the moment, than it had to be a fairly big one.
After a few more moments of silence, the heavy breathing had begun to stop, as it seemed as though all of them had managed to catch the much needed breath. I wondered if they were going to try again, as I listened in as I heard one of the cats begin to speak.
"How are we going to move this rock? The rock is huge!" I heard the voice of Shrivel begin to say to all of the other cats that she was with. It seemed as though none of the others had a response to that. It worried me quite a bit, as I wondered if I was actually going to get out of the rock.
There was silence for a bit longer, which made me begin to feel even worse, as I began to freak out a bit, as I tried my best to pull myself off of the rock that was on me, but it seemed as though it were no use, and I was stuck.
I gave up, as I opened my eyes finally, as I saw a bit of a glimmer of light, over a small little crack that was above me. It gave me some sort of small little hope, that I might be able to get out of this situation that I was stuck in. This time I did not get dust in my lungs, as it seemed as though I was more able to breath.
I tried to speak, but all I could let out was a small little whimper that I knew none of the others were able to hear. The pain seemed even more immense than it had just before. I just wanted to close my eyes, and fall asleep, and let it all be over.
I had finished my destiny right? I had brought back the clans... Maybe it was my time to go... I opened my eyes once again though, as I heard one of the cats begin to step up, and speak over all of the others, and it surprised me that it was this cat as well. I listened to what it was that the older tom had to say to the others anyways.
"Lets just try one more time... He has to be in pain right now... It wont hurt us to at least try right?" I heard the voice of Venom say to all of the others. It made me feel a lot better as a leader as well, as it seemed as though this cat was stepping up for me.
I seemed to feel a bit more relaxed at the same moment as well, as I calmed myself down, and did my best to tell myself that it was all going to be okay. Then this time, I heard the voice of my deputy, Owl, as he stepped up and began to speak to the rest of the small little group.
"Alright... We will try this one more time... Are you guys ready? On 3 one more time." He said to all of them. I heard each one of them say something to him, as I was not sure what they had said... It could not have been anything bad, as he kept on with where he had left off. "1... 2... 3!"
I heard the groaning of all of the others, as they did their best to push the rock as hard as they possibly could at the same time. This time it seemed to do absolutely nothing though, as I did not feel the rock moving a single bit. The 1st push must have worn them out quite a bit.
It did not take nearly as long for them to give up this time, as I heard the heavy breathing once again, as it was the same that I had heard just a few seconds ago. I waited for them to catch their breath, as I began to grow worried once again.
I wondered if the rock was too strong, and it would not matter how many cats tried to push it, if it would still matter at the exact same time. I stared at the darkness with my eyes closed, as none of them said a word to each other this time.
I wondered what it was that they must be thinking. I hoped that they were not just thinking about giving up on me... Surely they couldn't be right? They knew that I was alive, and I knew that my best friend, and my deputy would not.
I sat there for just a bit longer, as I tried to move my body once again, though it seemed to do no such sort of effort. I stayed still this time, as I told myself not to try it again, as it seemed to make the pain even worse at the exact same time as well.
The silence was beginning to scare me even more than before this time, as I wondered once again if they had all just walked away, and I had not heard them do so again. The silence then broke though, as I Shrivel begin to step up and speak once again, and I thanked myself that she had broken the quite scary silence in the room.
"Well... What do we do now? Do you want to go back to camp and call a meeting, and try to get some more cats to come over?" Shrivel said, as it was clear that she had meant it to Owl this time. I began to freak out, as Owl did not respond to her for quite a long time.
I wondered if they were going to go back to camp, and if they were just going to leave me by myself. I wish that I was able to speak, as I knew that they thought that I was just unconscious. To tell them that I did not want to be alone right now.
But unfortunately I was stuck, not just the fact that I was stuck in spot, but I also could not get enough air to speak. I was lucky that the air was just enough for me to be able to breath, as it hurt me a lot to even do that in the first place as well.
There was silence for a bit longer, until I heard Owl, as he breathed in with a heavy sigh, clear enough for the others to notice it as well. He sat there for just a bit longer as well, as he was clearly just waiting to get all of their attention, before he then began to speak.
"How about this... Shrivel, you head back to camp and get as many that are willing to come as possible, and Silent, you go to Riverclan and ask for help, tell them why, and I promise that Kettle will help you." He said to each of the other 2 cats that he was with.
There was silence for just a few moments, as it seemed as though I almost felt each of them as they nodded back to him. Then I heard the footsteps as they scrambled past all of the rocks that they were stepping on, to go ahead and head off to do what Owl had asked of them.
Suddenly the cold wind died down, and everything began to feel quite a bit warm at the same time as well. I sat there confused as all ever, as I then heard all of the others then gasp. I wondered what was going on, and what I was missing.
I sat there for a few moments, as I could tell that all of the other cats were still there, as I knew that Silent and Shrivel had not finished walking down the rocks. I wondered what it was that had stopped them, until I heard the voice of a familiar cat as it stepped up and spoke to the others.
"No need to do that... We are here..."
