New City

I filled in Max and Aurora on what happened during the fight.

Apparently my class effect also had some influence on both of them.

Since Aurora had saved me from the ice beam her level had gone from 1 to 14.

Max hadn't done much in the fight but he did deal some damage to the bear so he gained boosted exp and levelled up to 52.

"I can't believe I'm level 52 and was useless during the fight" Max said. He had been pretty down ever since I told him what happened. I wanted to assure him that he had helped but I didn't have much to back it up.

Aurora had been quiet since we had come back but I didn't want to push her.

"We should go to the capital" , I said.

The capital city of netcore was a the central hub of the game. But the reason I wanted to go there was because of the annual combat tournament.

I told this to both of them. "Are you insane?" Max responded. "The annual combat tournament has an entry fee of 200,000 gold, and even if we did have that much money the people who enter the tournament are pros, best of the best, high ranker's! We'll get destroyed in no time." he added.

Max did have a point. However that didn't mean we had to give up.

"We'll travel by land, that way we can fight monsters and level up so we'll be at least a bit prepared" I said.

"Now I'm convinced your crazy. Do you know the amount of bandits that there are on the way there?!" Max exclaimed.

"Yeah I do, but we'll be able to handle it." I said.

"Aurora, you can't actually be agreeing with him" Max asked.

Aurora who had been silent responded "If he goes I'll go."

"Majority wins" I said.

Max sighed. "Fine, I'll go but we are probably going to get killed"

"Well then let's go" I said.

And we began our journey to capital city.
