Chapter 12: Phoebe

The next day

       Xi bie woke up feeling intense headache. She held her head in her hand and looked around the unfamiliar environment. She pulled the bed cover and looked down.

     Who changed my clothes

Her head was aching painfully.

    What had she done last night

She thought as the memories of the previous night rushed back to her.

   While she was drunk, she held unto a man, flirted with him and even vomited on his body.

The memories jolted her awake, she got down slowly from the bed to process what was really going on.

   She picked up her phone and to her surprise, she saw 58 missed calls and several messages. 30 from Shen fie, 18 from George and 10 from Xio nishan.

She was about to call back Shen fie when she saw the text message from her son.

    Hello mummy, Xio nishan misses you, you did not pick up Xio nishan call, is mummy angry with Xio nishan, Xio nishan has always been a good boy, mummy pls don't be angry with Xio nishan anymore and reply me😭😭

Warmth filled Xi bie's heart as she read the messages from her son, she immediately replied them and called back Shen fie.

Shen fie picked up immediately after the first ring.

       " Ya! Where have you been since yesterday" Shen fie scolded loudly.

    " Can you not shout, am suffering from intense headache" Xi bie replied rolling her eyes.

   " Whatever, did you go to peijenj bar yesterday" Shen fie asked curiously.

   " Yes, how did you know"

" Seems like I guessed right check your weibo page and see the mess you've caused " Shen fie said laughing.

   " What do you mean" Xi bie asked curiously.

   " Call me after checking it " Shen fie said and she hung up .

After putting down her phone, she quickly looked at the news. Sure enough, her dance video from the previous night had gone on the news.

There were several video clips from different angles but her face was blurry.

According to the reporters, they gave her the name Mistery woman and even said she danced just like the famous Hollywood singer PHOEBE . This was correct, Aren't this people's eyes too sharp, they quickly connected her to her life abroad as the famous Hollywood singer.

Many fans commented on the video. And in one night, the video had gained more than ten thousand views and it was still increasing.

Xi bie face palmed herself as she made her way to the door.

    " Ma'am you are awake, the hangover soup is ready" a maid rushed to her immediately she got out of the room.

    " Who brought me here?" She asked confused.

      "It's sir" the maid answered

   " Oh, where is your sir" Xi bie asked looking around.

   " Why aren't you calling me honey anymore, I really prayed to hear that this morning" a voice traveled clearly behind her and she immediately turned with a flushed face.

The maids disappeared to their rooms leaving only the both of them.

Xu beichen smiled softly as he walked towards her in large strides. His gaze were warm and gentle, his expression gave a homey feeling.

Xi bie felt stuck, she wished the ground will just swallow her before she dies of embarrassment.

She fiddled with her hands as she looked down trying to avoid his gaze.

     " Thanks for bringing me back last night"

She said sheepishly

  Xu beichen laughed lowly.

" It's nothing" he said as he took a sip from the warm coffee he was holding.

    " Hm .."

" Anything else" Xu beichen asked raising his eyebrows.

     " Sorry I don't know what I did yesterday, but I can be really touchy when am drunk" Xi bie wished she could bury herself in a hole in the ground after saying that.

Xu beichen looked at her flushed state and smiled lightly " you did nothing".

       " Really?" Xi bie asked with a hint of disappointment in her tone.

       Why do I feel so disappointed.

She shook her head from the thought and turned to walk away.

   " Were you hoping you did something? You sound disappointed" Xu beichen asked with a bit of tease in his tone.

Xi bie halted her step as she anxiously said.

   " No ,no it's best nothing happened"

Xu beichen walked closer to her, he raised her chin to stare at her flushed face " looks like you remember something"

     " No....no.. I don't " Xi bie stuttered trying not to make eye contacts with him.

Xu beichen smiled lightly, he love the reaction she is giving him, he love the way she is reacting to his touch.

             " You kissed me last night"

"No way! That didn't happen at all. I vomited even before I got a chance to kiss you". Xi bie frantically.

It was only after she finished speaking that she realized what she just said. She quickly reached her hand up to cover her mouth.

Xu beichen laughed as he raised his eyebrows " looks like you remember everything"

Xi bie's face flushed completely red as she lowered her head, she was greatly embarrassed.

     " Am sorry"

            This girl can be stupid at times

Xu beichen thought as he grinned widely.

       " Go freshen up, breakfast is almost done" Xu beichen changed the topic trying to make the atmosphere less awkward.
