Chapter 13: Kabedon

Xi bie ran into the room and locked the door behind her, she sat on the bed,her face full of guilt.

She actually flirted with a stranger and called him honey.

She freshened up and got out of the bathroom with a towel round her body still clouded in her thought.

The movement of the door jolted her awake

    " Ma'am, sir asked me to give you this and call you down for breakfast" the maid said as she passed the clothes to her.

        " Ok" she said as she collected the clothes.

     " Ma'am, sir personally picked those clothes for you".

Their master has never brought any woman home for the past 30 years of his life and for the first time a woman is present at the Xu mansion and in their master's room, this woman is definitely not simple, so it is better to hug the leg of their future lady boss.

     " Really?" Xi bie asked checking the clothes.

    Why do I look so happy.

Her face flushed red at the thought of  him choosing a lace underwear for her.

    She shook her head at the thought.

"Ma'am are you okay?" The maid asked softly.

    " Uhm..your sir looks tired?" She asked not knowing how to phrase her sentence.

   " Ma'am, sir probably didn't sleep well last night, but he looks like he is in a good mood this morning, don't worry ma'am".

   " He didn't sleep well last night? Was it because of me?".

" No sir probably took a cold shower that lasted half of the night, so he didn't sleep well".

   That's weird.

    " Okay tell him I'll be there".

The breakfast went smoothly and Xu beichen offered to drop her off before going to the office.

XU INDUSTRY

Xu beichen stood by the tall glass window grinning widely to himself.

    He had the best night ever, and for the first time breakfast was not boring.

He was lost in his thoughts and didn't even notice when his sister came in.

    " Hey brother, miss me? " Xu xiyan asked grinning.

Xu beichen jolted out of his thoughts and faced back.

    " No " he replied smiling

Xu xiyan looked closely at her brother

He seem to be in a good mood.

" Brother is there anything you are not telling me" Xu xiyan asked curiously.

Xu beichen furrowed his eyebrows and turned to her " is there anything you want to know?".

    " Yeah, you better come clean. I went to your mansion today to say hi and I over head the maid saying you brought a woman home".

   " So now you are spying on me".

Those maids need proper training.

  " No brother Chen, I was just worried about you " Xiyan whined as she walked closer to him.

    " Worry more about yourself, as the CEO to Xu industry kingdom jewel, aren't you supposed to be in A nation right now for the meeting with Queen Ella".

    " Yeah I ditched it" she replied rolling her eyes.

     " But brother Chen, mum, dad and I are praying crazily for you to enter a good relationship with someone". She added.

      "....." Xu beichen began to wonder if this sister of his was adopted or something.

" Okay brother Chen ...tell me do you like anybody? I can help am a girl and I know what we girls like".

      " No worries".

" Urrgh... Seriously brother are you just going to give up and let the company go to that illegitimate son of father".

             " Nope".

" Then brother think, was there any girl you liked maybe in highschool or something".

Xu beichen pinched in between his brows

   " Looks like you are too free nowadays to bother over my personal life, I will put you in charge of the new project in M nation".

  " No no no, am too busy, am even too busy to sleep" Xiyan said frantically.

  Xu beichen smiled lightly, this sister of his was just too stupid.

Xiyan shuddered at her brother's smile.

     This is creepy, brother rarely smile, what exactly is going on.

" Xiyan are you really worried about me or are you just trying to stop mum and dad from urging you to get married?".

                Bursted.

Having her true intentions exposed, Xiyan laughed awkwardly, she held Xu beichen's hand....

      " Dear brother, aren't you too smart, you know I don't want to get married now. So whether it's for me or for you or for the family, your son will be the next heir, so it is you who should find a life partner, that way mum and dad won't be too anxious and stop bothering me". She said pouting her lips.

Xu beichen smiled helplessly, this sister of his is just cunning.

Xu Xiyan released his hand, it is impossible to pry any valuable information from her brother, she did not continue to press him and just left his office leaving him to continue with his work, even though she still had a nagging suspicion.

Xu Xiyan walked into the elevator and inside, she saw Lu yen who had just returned.

Her eyes lit up as an idea came to her head.

She moved over to block Lu yen from exiting the elevator.

Lu yen looked up and saw the person who had just blocked him was his boss younger sister.

He quickly greeted her.

     " Miss Xu".

Xu Xiyan smiled cunningly and stepped closer and closer to him, backing him into the wall.

He couldn't escape

     " Miss Xu ....what.. what ..are you doing?" Lu yen stuttered nervously.

Xu Xiyan could be so annoying when it comes to gossip.

     " Lu yen" she began.

" I know you've been responsible for handling my brother's affairs lately?"

  " Uh" Lu yen said nervously as he stood Frozen in Miss Xu's kabedon, a maneuver which is often used in an attempt at seduction, but at that moment, he was entrapped.

He had always thought Miss Xu was a timid and shy woman, why is she so crazy today, he was still suffering from his young master's crazy attitude this morning now the young mistress.

   Why do I feel the Xu family are full of maniacs.

       " Have you noticed any changes in him lately? I mean is there any woman he fancies? Has he been seeing anyone?" Xu Xiyan asked looking straight into Lu Yen's eyes.

       Changes?

       Hell yes!

Since the appearance of Miss Xi bie, the young master has changed a lot. He would no longer lose his temper easily, nor will he drink to stupor. He was even more cheerful than before.

      " No ....no..young master has not been seeing anyone". Lu yen stuttered in his speech.

     " Really?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

     " Yes".

   " If I find out that it is true I will cut off your tongue" she said smiling coldly.

Lu yen was lost of words.

She noticed she was getting too close to him and quickly drew back her arm and took a few steps back.

After Xu Xiyan left, Lu yen let out a sigh of relief.

    What kind of devil did they send to him this morning.
