  " She left earlier, she had something to do"

She wanted to chase after him but had thought she wasn't in the right mood to talk to him. So she planned on dolling up the next day to say hello to him.

She got to school the next morning and was told he had travelled out of the country. She had cried her eyes out as usual and lost all the hope of going against her parents. In the end she had to go to business school.
