[You Have Died.]

This was the last thing that I saw before I died as my consciousness began slipping away as the darkness engulfed my vision. I felt my soul slowly leaving my body as I began to feel numb and didn't know what was happening anymore.

After what I felt like an eternity, I clenched my head with my palms as the pain began surfaced on my head that made me scream.

"Argghhhhh."

"My Lord, are you okay?"

"Where am I?"

"Young Lord! You are in your chambers, his highness the Duke has been so worried about you. You've been asleep for a week now and your father has nearly lost all hope. Thank goodness!"

This unknown old man that was smiling as he saw me woke up was exalted to the core. I did not know who this old man was. He was wearing a weird and old style of clothes that did not exist in the modern age.

"Lord? Me? Duke? Father?"

"Young Lord, do you remember who I am?"

"I, I, Don't."

I hesitated. I was afraid that this old man would suspect me but clearly he identified me as his Lord. I was so confused.

"I guess the fall hit your head too hard."

"Fall? Did I fall? From where?"

The last thing I remember was being killed by Avalon on the 43rd Floor of the Sky Tower. Damn that game! but where the heck am I? I had too many questions at the moment, how did I end up here? Was this another part of the game?

The old man was confused as he looked at me thinking that this was due to the fall that may be messed up my head.

"Old Man, who are you?"

"You don't really remember me, young lord?"

"Maybe I got amnesia?"

"I'm Benedict, the butler of the House Windoria which my family has served for generations."

"I really don't remember."

I had an awkward face as I said that to him. I felt a little bad not knowing who he was.

I tried standing up but I felt pain all over my body which made it very difficult. Benedict saw that as he reprimanded me that I should stay still and rest. I insisted that I wanted to go and find a mirror.

Seeing this was weird of what was happening, I suddenly thought of transmigration or reincarnation novels that made the MC become another person. This was way too real to be true. I tried pinching my face and it freaking it hurts!

"Young Lord, here a mirror."

Benedict brought me a mirror and saw what my face look like that shocked me. What? This is me? I've become a Blonde and a good-looking person? I have a perfect jawline and clear blue eyes as oppose to my previous black ones? What a jackpot! Leo did not consider himself handsome at all in his past self.

"Benedict, can you tell me what's my name?"

"It's Leo, Young Lord."

I guess the name still retains. Well, that's good or it will be so confusing. As Benedict explained to me what happened to me. I gradually understood that everyone thought I had committed suicide but not Benedict nor my father believed it to be so. The kingdom was currently not in a peaceful state as the reigning king is believed to be in the deathbed.

As Benedict recalled the latest news and happenings, a sudden notification bell rang inside my head, startling me that also surprised benedict because of my sudden squeak.

"Is there a problem young lord?"

It was not a problem but was still shocking as a panel of attributes and stats that were from the game appeared before me.

What? How is it here? Don't tell me this is really just a game? It confused me because this was from a game! A panel of attributes showing my stats!

Back to Level 1, huh? I thought it wasn't that bad but seeing my little strength made me a little down. Was this body very weak? Coming from a prominent house this was all I could do?

[You have been given the starting quest of Getting Stronger. Reach Level 5 in one week or a penalty will be received.]

Penalty? That's new! The Game: Sky Trials didn't have any penalties given. I shouldn't think of it too much and just focus on leveling up but how should I start grinding levels?

"Young Lord, is something the matter?"

"Ah, I was just thinking of something. How long do I have to stay here?"

"The doctor will check you a while later and give you medicine that will make you feel better."

"Alright, I will wait for him. Isn't there anything you have to do in the meantime?"

"His highness has tasked me to guard and nurse you to full health, young lord."

"Oh, Okay."

Benedict and I casually talked again regarding matters that would make me remember my "memories". It would be a great help later on when certain situations would come up that this information given by benedict would be of great help. The conversation went on for a while until the doctor finally arrived.

"Young Lord, I'm Roy, the doctor that will be responsible for you today."

"I'm in your care, doctor,"

I watched him as he suddenly drank a blue-colored bottle that he gulped in a few seconds. This was weird, why would a doctor suddenly drink when treating a patient? Wasn't this kind of inappropriate?

"Ahhh, Doc, you okay?"

"Ah yes, I'm fine. Let's begin."

The doctor neared me and suddenly put his right hand at the back and his left on my chest. This was really weird. I haven't even seen a stethoscope or any kind that would resemble one. Is he really a doctor?

The doctor then took a deep breath and suddenly chanted weird words that I could not understand. Is this guy a fake? I had my doubts by suddenly his hands started glowing green and I began to feel relaxed. The feeling was soothing and the injuries of my fall began disappearing and soon there was no pain felt anymore. Magic!? This world has magic in it! Nice!

So that was it! I wasn't actually weak but weakened! Due to my injuries, my strength naturally dropped as well. The next thing to do is complete the starting quest or I will receive that penalty. Better be safe than sorry.

"Young Lord, It is done."

The doctor retracted his arms away and gave me a smile.

"Roy, the fee will be given to you later when the Duke comes back."

"Yes Benedict, I understand, as always."

"Young Lord, please rest here and I will call you later when dinner will be served."

"Okay."

I did not argue with him as it was best to rest a few here and think what my next move will be. I have to learn and understand this world-first so my actions won't have dire consequences. I must be cautious more than ever as I don't want to die again.

I looked around the room and saw that it was filled with books. My previous self must have collected quite a few. There must be some in here that will tell me what this world is. I took a few that had the word history on it. To my surprise, I understood and read the language well.

I am currently in the Kingdom of Coldwinter, a kingdom up north from the continent. It bordered two kingdoms in the south. It was relatively peaceful from its neighbors but the two could not be said to be the same as they were at war with each other for a long time. Coldwinter became neutral as it didn't want to pick a side as the king and previous kings advocated peace. The two kingdoms of Westeras and Rainad have irreconcilable differences and have been at odds for a long time. Coldwinter didn't have many dealings in the central continent as it was too far away from it to have direct influence.

A knock was heard from the door, as Benedict opened it signaling that it was time for dinner and his father has arrived.

I walked out of my chamber and proceeded to the dining hall where everybody was gathering. There were a lot of servants that became joyful when they saw me and a few knights in armor that nodded when I looked at them.

I arrived at the table were a huge blonde-brawny man with a beard came running and hug me as he shouted with joy. I guess this is my father.

"Everyone, Let us cheer and celebrate tonight from our successful hunt and recovery of my son!"

Everybody shouted so loud that my ears were starting to hurt.

"Servants, bring us the food!"

I saw mountains of food being brought to the huge table but looking at the food I was really disgusted inside, Isn't this a humongous beetle? What kind of food do this people feed on!? That's a bat with four wings?! What kind of world did I end up?

Leo held his stomach that made him wanted to throw up as he was also getting a little dizzy from the scene.
