Chapter 3

"Wow this place is amazing,your mother has great taste" Cam gasps as she looks at the apartment in awe,"mmh its nice I love it" I tell her pouring myself some water,that dorm of hers smells like a bar with stenchy paverted idiotic drug addicts,I could practically smell all the drugs her roommate was taking, its a good thing she wasn't there when I got there."So there is your room,you can keep your things there and make yourself comfy this is your place too" I tell her showing her to her room.

"Thanks a lot,am so lucky to have a friend like you" she says hugging me,"yeah thats what friend are for" I hug her back and let her finish settle in,"okey see ya tomorrow" I tell her leaving.Today has been a long day and tomorrow is another,I hope it goes well.

I am being woken by the blinding lights of the sun and the beeping of my alarm,I turn to my night stand and hit the alarm so that it can stop that irritating sound its making.I stretch my body cracking some of my bones and for a moment I think of pulling up the comforters and just sleep but I don't want to roam around like a loner on my first day in campus.I plop my leg and immediately flinch to the cold tile,aargh this is not my room and I miss Ruffle and his cute little snore when he sleeps next to me.

I drag myself to the bathroom that is joined to my room and take a fast shower to remove this sleepy stench that I know I have after am done I grab my ragged high waist jeans and a tanktop.I put my hair in a messy bun lazy to comb it and put on my boots,I apply some lipgloss and get out from my room just in time to see Cam tying her hair."Ready? We can take our breakfast at the nearby coffee shop" I tell her digging my phone to my pocket.

"Yeah lets go am exicited to see the university" she squeals and wraps her arm to my arm.We head to the coffee shop that is 10 feet away from my apartment and am immediately greeted by icy blue eyes,I feel my heart rate start to pick up and my palms starts to sweat.Why am I so nervous?

"Kater over here" Zayn shouts making the people around us look to my side and I feel myself shrink from there stares,I give them an apologetic face.We make our way to where there sitting and slide down the booth,"was it a must you call out my name" I hiss to my brother trying to ignore the gaze that Jax is giving me."Don't be a party pooper,it has been a week since I saw you and this is how you say hi" he says with a smug and I roll my eyes."Stop acting as if your life revolves with mine" I mutter and a waiter comes for our orders.

I order some donuts and coffee,I can't wake up without drinking some strong coffee if not I will feel like a zombie walking around."Hey Kater wassup?" Jax finally greets me and I turn my attention to the cute boy."Hey Jax nice to see ya,long time"I tell him sweetly a smile forming on its own,"yea I have been busy" he says rubbing the back of his neck and I simply nod.

"So how is your new apartment? Mum told me its a nice place" Zayn asks,"yeah its really nice and big place for both of us" I say bitting my donut, "what do you mean by the 'both of you'?" Zayn asks quoting the words both of us,"yeah am sharing the place with Cam" I tell him wiping my lips, "got some problem with it?" I ask him sternly daring him to say if he has a problem,"yeah have a problem with it Zayn?" Cam join me giving him a stern look and I see him swallow hard his adam's apple plopping up and down,"okey I guess your okey with it" I say sipping my coffee and smirking at him.

"We are heading out,see ya later" I wave at them and grab Cam's arm dragging her out from the place."Your brother is so cute when he is scared" she says drolling over him and I just shake my head, "soon he will do the same to us.He can't just sit on his ass watching us trying to frighten him" I tell her trying to figure out what my brother can be planning."Oh well his still cute" she says ignoring what I said and skips her way to my car.

"You should get a car soon I won't be your driver all my life" I complain roaring my car to life,"aw but I like you driving me around" she whines and I shoot her a glare,"okey I have some savings and am planning to buy a car soon" she give in and I smile,its not as if I had a problem in giving her a ride in my sweet baby.

We reach the university's parking lot and we give out our insurance slip to the guard near by and we are being greeted by the purple logo flag of NYU as we head to the grand entrance of the university.We meet a group of people chatting amongst themselves and we head to join the group, "this place is amazing,I never thought I would be able to study here" Cam whispers to me and I nod in agreement.I see a young lady come to us and seeks for us to be silent.

"Good morning and welcome to Newyork University,in where you can archive your dreams in this four walls" she says gesturing to the dumb strucking beauty of the place,"I will be your host Mrs Frank and am also the consultant of this university,so if you have any pending issue feel free to come for my help" she tells us sweetly and we thank her in unison unfortunately we are the first group to arrive so we won't take our sweet time admiring the university.

She shows us the auditarium,the cafeteria,where most of the classes will occur,the dispensary,the workshop,the library and I must say this place is big its like our apartment but filled with books and a sign showing for us to be silent and finally the main hall.When we are done with the argonising tour of this big building we head to the cafeteria for some refreshments,I look at the price and my mouth falls wide open,"this things are so expensive" Cam complains,"yeah but am thristy I need something refreshing" I tell her taking apple juice," here I will pay for you" I offer and she immediately refuses,"no am fine,I have some money on me" she says paying for herself,I sigh to her sturbborness.

Cam is not that financely strong,her mother is a nurse and her father is a mechanic so money to them doesn't come so fast unlike me,my mother is a well reputated beautician she has done makeup to big tycoons in this world so we don't have any problems financely but I have never considered her to be middle class or myself as a high class person,she is my best friend and nothing matters other than that and anyways the money that I use are also my hardwork from working at a bakery store and also for the parties I have held at home.

"Did you see how there are so many cute boys" Cam mutters checking out the boys behind us,"nope haven't seen one" I tell her and she gasps dramatically, "you didn't just say that" she sighs and I giggle."Look at that one, he has been looking this side for long" she squeaks and I look over my shoulder to see a boy with a tight shirt showing off his muscles that just shouts its from steroids,he smirks and winks at me and I immediately turn to face Cam,"not my type" I tell her in disguist, "well to bad because he is heading our way" she says wiggling her eyebrows and I immediately grab her hand tossing the box of apple juice to the dustbin and practically run from there like my heels are on fire.

"Why did you run off like that?" Cam asks trying to straighten her skirt, "because I was in no mood for some chit-chat with a stranger" I mutter, "a hot stranger" she corrects and I roll my eyes at her."Aw look at this pic,my mum will like it" she says showing her picture that she took here, "you know my relatives are gonner be so jealous that I went to one of the best universities when they see this pic" she squeals posting them to her social media tagging me in it.

We head to my car to go back to our apartment, "we should buy things to decorate our place" she offers and I agree,we go window shopping buying new utensils and other things that I have no idea she has picked,when we are done we head to the apartment carrying the heavy bags, now is when I wish Robin was here.We carry them to the elevator me bumping to some people and apologying repeatedly, "you have made me carry a lot of things" I complain trying to look infront, "just shut up, you have little things" Cam scolds me and presses the button to our floor,I huff and put down the stuff.We reach our floor and head to our apartment,Cam immediately starts decorating the place and I sit down exhausted from the shopping we have done.How can she be so energytic still?

"Stop relaxing your lazy ass there and come and help me" she complains and I groan standing up to help her.We spend the rest of the afternoon decorating and moving stuff around until I lost count of time and finally am here laying on my comfy bed ready to sleep and shut down the world around me,today was a busy day and am exhausted to the core.

Two weeks have past and I have already taken like five tests in this little time,there hasn't even been time for fun and thats what I really need.I get out from the literature class sleepy to the set book our literature teacher was summarzing,am having seconds thoughts of being a writer if this is how my classes will be.I walk slowly through the crowded hall way because people are rushing to there next classes and just lean to the spot I have adapted since I came here watching people hurry to their classes.

My mind goes to Jax,he is well known in this place with my brother all girls practically droll over them and that grosses me out knowing he is my brother.If I just pass any of his group that I meet last time you find them having a crowd of there own just like now,my brother is being surronded by girls that I don't even know because am still new to this place.How can Cam still be having a crush on my brother while his flirting with other girls? He looks at my side and immediately smirks,just great here comes my douche bag of a brother.

He excuse himself from the audience he has,telling them something that makes them laugh as he makes his way to me."Hey sis,haven't you been sneaky.I haven't seen you like for the past week" he says taking the pin pop I was sucking and plops in his mouth,"gross how can you eat something thats from my mouth" I mutter scronching my nose, "oh sis don't act so innocent" he says offering it back and I shake my head no, "you can keep it am good" I say taking another one from my bag, "aw you would have told me you have a spare one" he whines as I unwrap it, "you would have asked" I say waving it at his face.

"Hey,so where is Cam?" He asks and I look at him trying to read his mind, "why are you asking for her? She is my best friend not yours" I question him standing on my tiptoes so that I can atleast reach his height, "aw don't act like that,she is also my friend" he defends himself and I size him giving in, "I don't know our classes are different from each other" I answer his question,"see was that hard to say you don't know" he muses and I hit his shoulder, "fuck off" I mutter seeing the hall is almost empty, "and don't try to play with her like the other sluts" I tell him in a cold tone and leave for my next class.I care for my brother but he does many mistakes and I don't want him to pull Cam in them.

My spanish class goes faster enjoying every last minute of it because unfortunately this is one of the non boring class I have."Hey Kater" I hear someone call my name and I look up to see where that voice came from,I see Audry make her way to me.We have been together most of the classes and we begun to talk, "hey Audry,whats up?" I smile at her putting my books away. "So there is a party at the frats house and your welcomed to come, you can bring your friends" she tells me, "ofcourse thanks for the invite,I will definetly come.When is it?"

"Its tomorrow night,don't be late" she says giving me the address and leaves,this is what I need some fun.
