I heard someone opening the front door and slamming it shut, and decided to check what the hell was going on. When I reached the entrance, I saw Deku taking a black and silver gas mask-like mask off his face. Then he ran past me. "If anyone asks, I'm not here!"
I wanted to ask him what he meant, when I heard loud footsteps outside. A few people were mumbling things to each other, then someone rang the doorbell. I opened and saw an elderly police officer standing in front of me. But something was damn wrong with his clothes.
It looked like someone had melted some kind of cardigan into his uniform. Then it hit me- This must've been that blonde from the League of Villains. She had had some kind of copycat quirk. Maybe she activated it wrong or something. What had Deku done this time?
"Good evening, sir. Did you see a teenager with a scorched black shirt and army boots come up the street?" The voice of the 'police officer' sounded strained, like 'he' was suppressing a lot of anger. Just great. Why did I always get caught up in Dekus affairs?
I leaned against the doorframe and decided to play dumb. "No, why?" 'He' shook 'his' head. "That's not important for you. Do you know where he could've gone?" I squinted my eyes. "Either up the street or through that private way a few houses down the street. Dunno if there are more ways."
The 'officers' face began to melt, somehow. "Alright, bye!" 'He' seemed to panic and quickly left my property. While running, some kind of grey sludge streamed down of the person and a pair of blonde buns showed up instead of an officers' hat. Yeah, I had fucking been right.
I slammed the door shut and went up the stairs into my room, where I found Deku sitting on my bed, grinning to himself. "Oi Deku, the fuck did you do?! First you're gone for two days again, then the damn League of Freaks is after you!" He started laughing. "You wish you knew. Anyways, do you have something like a burn ointment or something?"
I raised my eyebrows. "Yeah, after all my quirk burns me too sometimes, but why the hell would you need that?" Deku wordlessly turned his left side towards me. I almost choked on my own spit. Half of his shirt was scorched through, and a few pieces of cloth seemed to have burned into his skin.
I inhaled sharply and turned towards the bathroom. "I'll be right back." When I came back out with the first-aid-case, Deku had taken his shirt off and examined the vast areas of burns on his left arm, side and back. The blackish-purple spots looked fucking painful.
"Oi Deku. Sit down." I pointed to my bed, and to my very surprise, Deku immediately obeyed. It was weird though, he didn't even wince once while I treated his burns. His level of pain tolerance scared me. When I was done wrapping bandages around Deku, he sighed. "Great, now I'm not only littered in scars, I'll also have brittle patches of skin forever."
I snickered mirthlessly. "That's what you get for playing with fire. Should teach you not to do it again." Deku smirked lightly. "Too bad that I'm about to do exactly that again. In more than one way." I started cleaning up the spare bandages and stuff. "What's that supposed to mean?!"
Dekus smirk widened. "Oh, nothing." Then his expression dropped a bit. "And now shut it. No questions asked." I scowled. "I won't shut up about you being in danger all the time. I fucking care about you, if you haven't noticed yet!" Next thing I knew, I was lying on my back, Deku over me on all fours. "You talk too much Kacchan. Way too much. Shut up, will you?"
I opened my mouth to shoot back, but Deku covered it with one hand. "I'm serious. Make weird noises all you want, but if I hear a single word falling out, I will slice you up lengthwise." I slowly removed his hand (At first, I accidentally wrote 'head') in response and pulled him down to me.
Dekus excellent acting skills did their part once again. He was devouring my lips like some kind of cannibal, but being practically eaten up never felt better. Then Deku moved back a bit and I reluctantly went with it. He came so close to my ear, the vibration of his voice tickled me.
"Remember Kacchan, not a word. Unless you feel like dying." Deku ended with a sadistic grin, shoved my arms up and took my shirt off.
A lot of things were burning hot today.
