I Have to be an Alchemist?
"You know you don't have to take this class with me. I only needed a dancing partner." He shot me a dirty look before speaking.
"The more of this stuff, I know, the better chance I will have at making a good name for myself too, you know. We should both learn all of this stuff and teach it to the others." I agreed with him understanding his position.
"Fine, I guess that means you're my date to the ball." I shrugged nonchalantly, and Tim's serious face deflated and looked like he had stopped breathing for a second. He gathered himself back up quickly, though, and gave me an answer.
"Fine. I guess I am."
People called travelers slip from their world into one of magic, monsters, and adventure. One of these people, Todd Sheargin, is left with the choice of only one job the most unpopular job from the list. Alchemist. With no combat skill he has to learn how to use his new job in creative ways to make money, become an adventurer, and help support himself, and his friends through adventures, heartbreaks, and the horrors of the new world.
I like the relationships between the characters, especially Todd with Tim, and Todd's quirky alchemical master. The plot is easy to follow with enough depth and world building to create a lovely setting. Todd uses his abilities in creative ways, as one should when coming from another world. Overall a lovely read.
This book is great. The author actually thinks about how alchemy can be used in combat and every day life, way more than just hp/mp potions or alchemical fire.

I love the development. I like how the romance is slow paced that it gives meaning to their relationship. Love the friendship. Hopefully the author wont drop this. You got another fan here. FIGHTING!!!

i had read through half of this book and it is amazing, the writer's style of writing amaze me, it is easy to understand even for someone like me eho had never read about alchmist, i could understand it quite a bit, and more after reading next and next chapter!! Nice work Author! Keep it up
The writing isn't too wordy so its easy to follow. The characters are well designed. From there clueless approach to a new world. To the growth they gain through constant interaction with the world. And the over all world is described in a simple fashion. Which leaves room for it to grow through the characters. All in all real good story I recommend to anyone looking for something interesting.

I have really enjoyed this novel. I have enjoyed the world these characters have been forced to live in. I look forward to reading each chapter because it has the right amount of suspense. You grow to care for the characters especially Todd. The only suggestions for improvement I will make are for grammar especially the appropriate use of periods and for more detailed character descriptions. I also wish to thank the author for the wonderful ideas and descriptions about alchemy.
I love how the story started and progressed. The author has done a good job building characters. As a fan of LGBT stories, I recommend this to everyone to read. Can't wait to see the next update.
