Chapter 33: New Year

"I won," I said and laughed. "Now…" I raised my hand. We had a bet. Whoever loses, surrenders his or her credit card to the winner. Now that I won, his black card would be mine for a week. Last year, we had the same bet and I lost to him. He didn't spent too much on that so my father didn't noticed it, though.

I and Jarrick are always like this whenever we're together. This just happens once in a blur moon so why not make the most of it?

He scratched his nape before standing up. He suddenly ran and stormed out of the family room and I just cursed on what he did.

"Hey!" I shouted before following him.

He's tall. I'm just small. And no matter how fast I run, he's faster. It's impossible to catch up to him.

Our manor here in Barcelona is so big so all of us can run freely without damaging any expensive furniture.
