Chapter Thirteen

"ok drink it all" Isis said holding a cup to Nefertari's mouth.

She manged to drink the dark green drink Isis had brought to her and she could't help but shudder at the taste it left in her mouth if she had known the herbs that Isis said would help with the morning sickness would of tasted like this she would of put up with being sick at least the taste did't linger to long in her mouth like this did, she lent back against the pillows that were behind her and she could't help but sigh being pregnant was tiring that's why she was stuck in bed for a while the bad patch of morning sickness had drained her strength a little and that's why she had been told by Isis to rest as much as she could for the next few days and Atem had made sure she would also he had become even more protective than he had been before it was sweet that he just wanted to keep her safe but at the same time it was driving her insane she could't go any where without someone with her and she knew that the priests had better thing's to do than stick with her all day, this was the other reason Isis was with her to day since Mana was having lessons with Mahad and her's were all but done.

"you ok Nefertari?" Isis asked sitting next to her on the bed.

"yeah i'm ok just wish i was't stuck in the room all the living long day" she said with a sigh.

"i know it's hard but it's for your own health and that of the baby and wont have to stay in bed for long by tomorrow you should be up and about also you have the celebration to look forward to as well tomorrow so you want to be well for that don't you" Isis said with a smile showing.

"guess your right..i'm just a little bored that's all" Nefertari said with a smile back.

"true four wall's can get very dull ..but there is something you can do to pass the time and it wont be stressful and you can do it with in the room" Isis said.

"and that is?" she asked.

"weaving you can make many thing's that way would you like to i can have the thing's here in moments" Isis said.

"better than being stuck in bed all day and only if i can do it out on the balcony" Nefertari said.

"of course is there anything else you may like while i'm gone?" Isis asked now standing.

"some food i'm really hungry at the moment" she said blushing a little Isis just smiled back with a very slight chuckle.

"i wont be long" she said before leaving.

Atem sighed leaning back against his throne feeling a rather large headache coming from everything that was going on the wedding was one of the main reasons for the headache the celebration about his child was't really apart of it and Shada and Karim with the help of Aknadin thing's were going smoothly the real reason for his headache was the danger of Bakura and Marik hanging over them they had been laying low of late but from what Seto had told him after going out with the guards they had attacked an other small village across the borders which has started to cause problems and sort this problem and so they had people coming to talk about what happened and try and sort this whole thing out.

"Pharaoh are you alright?" Seto asked.

"it's nothing to worry about Mahad...how long in till our guests arrive?" he asked trying to ignore the throbbing pain in his skull.

"before sun down my Pharaoh..maybe you should rest in till then it has been a long day" Seto said.

He was going to take that advice and he stood from his throne but he lost his balance and thankfully Seto had caught him he guessed that with everything going on it had taken more out of him than he thought also he had't been sleeping that well he had woken a few times with nightmares of Nefertari covered in blood and him cradling her in his arms he had even woken her a few times when he had that nightmare it was one of the meany reasons he had guards with her all the time now he knew it pissed her off but it was for the best also he had asked his priests to keep stay with her when they were't busy also he thought she might enjoy them being with her more than just guards all the time, he thanked Seto and manged to stay on his feet with Seto's help and headed back to his room.

"how has Nefertari been of late?" Seto stopping at the door's.

"thanks to Isis she's been better but she still needs to rest for a bit would you like to say hello" he said pushing the door open.

"maybe some other time Pharaoh i don't want to bother her while she's resting" Seto said.

"very well in till later then" he said heading into the room.

When he entered the room he could't find Nefertari she was't in bed like she should be but he did see Isis she smiled and said that Nefertari was in the wash room since it was a little warm in here and she wanted to freshen up a little he smiled and headed for the wash room Isis pardoned herself and left the room all together, after she went a little pink in the face he guessed her item showed her vision and she did't want to stick around even though he was tired and had a pounding headache the thought of seeing Nefertari like that was something that most likely just might make him feel a little better, he was careful to stay quiet so he did't startle her and he leaned against the stone wall watching her when he spotted her in the center of the bath her hair dark from the water and the scent was one of fresh fruit also it looked like she was enjoying the water after an other moment or two he removed his clothes and puzzle and entered the water she stopped what she was doing for a second and she chuckled leaning into him when he wrapped his arms around him also he did't fail to notice the plate of fruit at the side also the grapes in her hands.

"washing and eating i'v never done that myself" he chuckled into her neck.

"could't help myself i was hungry and it was hot in there so i thought why not..how are you from Isis told me it's been a very busy day" Nefertari asked.

"it has and it's not over yet we have some guests coming before sun down due to the fact that Bakura and Marik attacked one of the villages over the borders" he sighed.

"do you want me with you when they come?" she asked.

"are you up to it though?" he asked.

"well i feel ok and as soon as i don't i'll come back to our room how does that sound" she said looking at him over her shoulder and was a little shocked to see how worn out he looked but he manged a smile.

"sounds good to me and how is this little one?" Atem asked his hand vanishing and rubbing against her stomach.

"little one's been fine" she said when he did that she could't help but enjoy it she was't sure why it was just comforting she guessed.

"good" he muttered into her neck placing kiss to it which caused her to lean back and sounds came from her because of what he was doing also she felt him smirk at the same time.

She shivered as his hands moved over her skin also he was being even more gentle than the last few times they were together like this she guessed he was being gentle because of the baby and she smiled then she gasped a little as his hands had moved up to her breasts she had't notice in till now that they were a little tender as his thumb ran over them her breath hitched a little but she manged to turn her head and catch his lips and if it was possible she melted against his body even more and it was the same for him but he was also keeping some control because he did't want to hurt the baby in anyway, so what they were doing now was enough but he could't help but notice his headache had started to go and it was due to her being with Nefertari was more than he could of ever of asked for and even now he could't believe that she was his though he had to break the kiss when the need for air was needed he really wished that they did't need to breath sometimes he smiled and manged to move them closer to the side and grabbed some grapes from the side since she had let the one's she had been holding had fallen into the water he pulled one free and put it into his mouth then put his lips back to her's feeding her the grape.

"i like eating this way how about you?" she asked pulling a grape free and holding it up to his lips for him to take it from her he smiled as he ate it from her fingers.

"the best" he said.

It was't long in till they were getting ready to meet these guests Atem had told her about she could feel his crimson eye's on her the whole time she was getting dressed and even more so when she was she had chosen a long white dress with slight golden leaf pattern in the edge and it trailed over one shoulder and it had a long almost like cape trailing down the same side also she had braided her hair to the side with golden bands also she was earrings which was't new for her but she had her hair down most of time so no one noticed when she did but to day they could clearly be seen, also she could't help but watch him as he changed into some clean clothes he was in a black tunic that stopped above his knee's also the golden band around his waist which matched all the other's he wore also he was wearing a red cloak around his shoulders this time she smiled to herself she was going to make him a new one in fact before he came or before she headed to the wash room Isis had set everything up for her out on the balcony as she wanted it to be a secret and had asked her to close the balcony door's while she cleaned up a little so she was happy he had't noticed.

"ready?" she asked him.

"not just yet i have something for you" Atem said holding his hand out for her she took it and he stood her in front of him and told her to close her eye's she did what he asked and only opened them when he told her to.

When she opened her eye's and locked down she could see the most stunning necklace she had ever seen either it was made from blue beads or stones she could't tell also it had slight golden parts to it also the large bead or stone hung from an other golden part and it went around the sides in casing it while a smaller blue bead or stone hung from under it the rest wrapped around her neck which she could feel.

"you like it?" he asked as she turned to him.

"like it i love it thank you Atem but when did you?" she asked.

"i have my ways" Atem said just as there was a knock on the door and he opened it letting Seto in he bowed to them both.

"our guests have arrived my Pharaoh" Seto said bowing.

"of course shall we" he said holding out his arm to her she smiled and linked her arm through his Seto bowed to her as well.

"i am glade your well enough to join the Pharaoh this evening Nefertari" Seto said.

"i'm glade to Seto" she said with a smile to him and she was sure he gave a little one in return.

"then without further delay" Seto said leading the way.
