Chapter Sixteen

Atem reached Shimon's room and pushed the door open and what he saw all but broke his heart in two seeing Nefertari sob her heart out into the pillows as Shimon tried to comfort her and calm her down a little, did she really think that he enjoyed what Anzu did or that he would want her instead he sighed and made his way over to them Shimon looked at him when he got closer and gave a little nodded knowing that he would want to be alone with her for a moment, he sat next to her on her bed not knowing what to say at first though when she turned her head to look at him his heart broke even more seeing how blood shot her green eye's were and seeing the tears fall from them and run down her cheeks all he could do was cup the side of her face and try and brush away some of her tears though his soon joined her's because he had hurt her by not pushing Anzu away sooner when she had still be in the garden or better yet he should't of let it happen or hear those thing's she said about her which was clear to him that she had heard that as well.

" I am so sorry ...more than you could know" he said wiping his own tears away as he spoke "do you remember what i told you when we went riding together?" he asked looking at her the whole time he had spoken or cupped the side of her face she had't said a word or tried to pull away from him.

"..you said don't think that i'd never want you.." she said her voice cracked a little.

"and that will always be true" he said back with a slight smile.

"but what she said then what she did...to me it looked like.." she said.

"i knew what she was saying was lie's after all Shimon told me all about maidens also i know you and you did't have to try and make me fall in love with you because i fell in love with you on my own, and i'v never been happier than i am right now to have someone like you to be my wife and queen also your carrying our child how could i not love or think i would want someone else ..you are more beautiful,stunning also lovely more than Anzu could ever hope to be also you have the kindest heart i'v meet your everything i could want and more and as for that kiss well i never enjoyed anything less..i only want you by my side believe me when i say that" he said.

He looked away from her trying to blink back his tears and his hand fell away from her face when she had't said anything but he had noticed her move onto her knee's she was sure that she looked like a mess, but she could't help but let a smile show at hearing just how much he loved her and she hated to see tears fall from those crimson eye's of his and in truth nothing could stop her from loving him even after what she saw sure it had hurt and she could keep seeing it but she knew one way to get rid of that sight, in almost the same way he had helped her and lead to their first night together she brushed the side of his face making him look at her and a slight smile showed seeing her own and it was't before long that her lips were against his in the most passionate kiss she could do which made him smile which made her do the same and he lent his forehead against her's.

"so you forgive me then" he said.

"how could i not Atem i love you more than you know" she said back.

" and i love you even more" he said.

Even though it was Shimon's room and bed they laid down on it for a moment trying to calm down she listened to his heartbeat since she had rested her head on his chest to her it was the best sound she had ever heard also he ran his fingers through her hair and it was very hard to keep her eye's open but he told her to sleep since they had a long night headed of them with the celebration he felt her raise her head and look at him then and he knew what she was going to say before the words left her mouth and he told her that he would speak with Anzu's parents and make it clear that their daughter was not welcome to celebration of their child and in the morning they were to take her back home, she could't help but smile and lay her head back down on his chest.

"we'er going to have to think of a name you know" she said.

"true though we have no idea what the baby will be" he chuckled still playing with her hair.

"then we'll just have to pick one girl name and one boy name you go first" she said shifting so she could look at his her head going from his chest to his shoulder.

"alright...how about Asim for a boy" Atem said after a few moments of thinking of one.

"hmm i like it" Nefertari said.

"glade to hear it now it's your turn" he said looking at her.

"how about ..Aloli..for a girl" she said with a smile.

"love it" he said.

"glade to hear it we should head to our room and get ready" Nefertari said but she found Atem's arm tightened keeping her there.

"in a moment i just want to enjoy this for a little longer if that's alright with you" Atem said she smiled and moved her head back onto his chest.

"i don't mind plus it's nice you sure Shimon wont mind us staying in his room a little longer?" she asked.

"he wont mind try and get some rest after being upset like you were it could't of been that good for the baby either" he said.

"ok i'll rest" she said closing her eye's and holding onto him just as tightly as he was holding onto her.
