Chapter 14: Turbulence

Sebastian had just hung up with Harper while the rest of us were busy packing to head to Liechtenstein – to the Habsburg lodge in the middle of the snowy mountains specifically. Harper had decided to meet us at the airport so that he could spend more time with my mother. I can only imagine the horrors he must be going through right now.

A limousine was waiting for us downstairs, another courtesy from Layla's family. I was beginning to think she's got more pull than the rest of us combined, and she always seemed to get her way. Something like that can give her major sway in court, and I wondered if I should start taking my friendship with her to the next level.
