Chapter 19: Anchors Aweigh!

I spent the next three days hiding in my room, feigning the flu. Sebastian checked up on me once, and considering my state when he saw me, he was convinced that I was sick and ordered people to stay away from me as to not get infected. I had been crying that day, and my runny nose and bloodshot eyes were enough to convince him that I really was sick. He had people send food and warm drinks up to my room, along with cough drops and some much-needed paracetamol. I always get headaches after I cry.

Henrik checked on me through texts, and my responses were always brief and to the point. He wanted to drop by, but I insisted that he mustn't. He would argue that he didn't care about catching the flu, but I never entertained his requests anyway.
