Dana's Story

"Grandpa's wish didn't happen," she whispered to her mother in the dark.

During the time her mother told her the story of her biological mother, the day turned into night, and they are now both lying on her hospital bed.

"Time flows, we don't know where it will take us." she dropped a kiss on her bandage. "Your mother, I don't understand what's in her heart, but whatever it is, it's not a good thing. And I don't want you to be like her."

"She is not my mother, Mama. You are."

She bumped her head softly to her mother's shoulder, who ended up sobbed clasping her hands. Tears were also formed at the corner of her eyes. In the silence of the hospital room, they understood each other more than when they used words.
