Laura " You know, Hanna, there is no place for two queens in a court, I wonder how southern kingdoms could run a harem with thousands of women then change their favourite every day."

Hanna rose an eyebrow in distraction and confusion didn't know what was she talking about, Laura always used to be nice to her and showed her affection!

her voice still was proud although her face was getting pale, all the room start to spin around her as her eyesight got weaker,

Hanna" Laura, please, I thought you are a nice person."

Laura led her onto the bed helped her to lay there, and sat beside her, held her hands in hers.

Laura " there is a difference with a good man and successful one, and I attended to be successful, forgive me for this dear Hanna, I have to get myself out of the hole I am in it."

She stroked Hanna's hair gently as she was breathing quietly now, Hanna couldn't say a word anymore, the room got darker and darker until she lost her eyesight or she closed her eyes. Laura gazed over at Nirvana, who was crying in silence.

Laura" don't cry child, innocent people can't last in this challenging word" she stood up to walk onto her stroked her hair away from her face as she leaned in to wipe her tears.

Laura "Nirvana, look at me, I don't want you to misunderstand anything, It is the rule of the life, weaker is going to die and give us to rise" she held the young girl in her arms as she felt petty for her to had seen this, But Nirvana has to grow."

Nirvana nodded at this tried to hold back her tears didn't dare to hug her back still she fits in her arms innocently.

As Laura left the room, Nirvana placed a bottle of Princess's favourite poison above Hanna's head to accuse her of murdering Hanna.

Then ran out of the room to scream and let everyone know that the King's favourite wife is dead!

As Nirvana shed tears of grief and fear, she informed the whole palace and took Samir to Hannah's room. Samir bent down in surprise and, after checking the vital signs, making sure that the brave and beautiful queen of the palace had passed away without giving birth to a prince. At this moment, the Princess entered with her maids and hurriedly looked at Hannah.

Princess " what is with all these noises Samir !" she gazed over at Hanna gasped in fear.

Princess" Is he sleeping? tell me that she is sleeping!" she commanded in fear.

Samir shook her head in despair, tried hard to pretend that she is sad.

Samir " I'm afraid someone poisoned her"she grabbed the bottle smelled it, noticed something scary, she couldn't say any more words and handed the bottle to the Princess.

Princess "it's my poison! but I didn't kill her Samir!"

Samir nodded looked at Hanna and the Princess; she was always jealous of Hanna cause of her closeness with her brother, so it's hard to believe that she wasn't the one who wanted Hanna out of the picture. Still, even this couldn't make Hamo hate his sister; nothing could, so Samir got sure that Princess ordered this.

Samir" who should we set at our queen now?"

Princess curved her lip in disgust as she was looking hatred at Hanna.

Princess " Only one person is pregnant with Hamo's child; still, I don't think it's wise to see a bitch as the queen, we should set someone else until we make sure about the gender of her child.

Samir didn't have any choice but to obey her; Princess walked threw the door.

Princess " I tell the King about this, prepare a funeral for Hanna and introduce someone who King likes more than others in the harem.

Princess would do anything to prevent Laura to be the queen, so this fact scares her that Laura's child would come soon then she had no choice but set her as the King's favourite!

After a few weeks, Brayton got to the Mainland, Cordelia and Arthur went to greet him as they notice his magnificent entrance with 100 soldiers, Cordelia raised an eyebrow as she learned he is with that amount of soldiers.

Cordelia " why are you with the southern army?" she asked pouted innocently.

Brayton bowed politely at the Princess, and the King then replied

Brayton " Laura gave me a mission to rescue Noah; actually, I have to give him a perfume that she has here in her secret room."

Cordelia convinced with this explanation and led him the room, they searched a lot together without getting help from any servants, cause no one should know about the place of the room; finally, they found the perfume in a box under the floor.

Brayton " Thank you for your help, without you, I couldn't find it so easily."

Cordelia smirked, " Actually, Laura and my father once used it to rescue me from soul suckers, so I knew the place of it."

Brayton chuckled "Laura wants me to get to Noah fast, So I should get going."

Cordelia nodded "I hoped you could stay more; you didn't see the new king."

Brayton raised an eyebrow chuckling" You married someone?"

Cordelia nodded " for my coronation I needed a husband, so I married Brishen to give me a child with blood of house Barren."

Brayton got surprised but preferred not to protest as he knew queens didn't like to hear protests.

Brayton " Laura told me to get him back to her as punishment" he relived the queen's decision to her as Cordelia wrinkled her nose,

Cordelia " just that? he was about to kill Noah, and he gets to live with his mommy? you do know that it's his dream to live with her? and still you give him that?" she snapped pissed at Laura.

Brayton shrugged " I don't know about this stuff, the only thing I know is, she wants her son, and I'm getting him from you when I get back from the north" he smirked and added " would you give me some fresh horses? incase we get into a battle we can't risk that our horses be tired."

Cordelia nodded " I give you that horses" she paused for a second then relieved "And I give you Brishen if I'm done with him" she smirked, Brayton nodded and walked out of the room and let the door close, Cordelia let the bricks move back to their place.

Cordelia " remind me to give you my grandma's cloak back, she has nothing without it," she said sarcastically, made Brayton frown.

Brayton " you are not too proud for a princess who isn't a queen yet?"

Cordelia glared into his eyes to control his mind" I am who I am, and you have to like me."

Brayton nodded and bowed in respect then turned to walk out. Cordelia let him leave and watched him living with her proud eyes, then got back to her study to let everyone know about Laura's decision.

In the North, guards were everywhere in the dark, wooden salon. Caleb was eating his food and watch people around himself without caring about them. Since Noah was there almost everyone has changed, most of the people who he knew were now in the bathtub of Osbert and his beloved queen, Noah was trying his best to find a way out, it was impossible without getting noticed by guards.

Caleb offered him a roasted duck. Noah shook his head; he was skinnier than the day he got in the North; he couldn't eat and wait to be killed!

Caleb whispered, "Remember a girl with curly hair and round black glasses?"

Noah nodded actually she was the only one he respected in these people around him.

Caleb " She was trying to be different, tried to get out of here, wanted freedom."

Noah nodded " even tried to convince people not to eat these foods she believed if not eat and refuse all stuff which Osbert gave them; they could win against the beast. cause if they don't eat, Osbert wouldn't need them anymore, and he has to let them go."

Caleb nodded "Osbert needs them fat and fresh."

Noah sighed " why you don't stop eating?

Caleb shrugged " Its not only my doing Noah, but people should also do it all together."

Noah let out a sigh "why did you mention Nadia?"

Caleb "they hanged her head on the wall of the gate, you shouldn't try to leave"

Noah stared at his pocket face in surprise reached out to grab a cake.
