Zumba for Diamonds

"HINATA-KUN, BEWARE!" Haruki shouted at the senior student. While Saito grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of the Monster Car's way. Jun ran, too, but toward the giant vehicle. The baker grabbed the side of the truck and climbed it, jumping into the vehicle where the student was.

Hinata shouldn't be seeing the way up there. Or he didn't know how to drive a car like this one. Or both. He and his Monster Car left a trail of destruction in their wake. Haruki didn't want the Monde Car to go into maintenance like the casino.

The car jerked to a stop, and the singer saw Jun slap the student on the head.

"Aiiiii, Jun-senpai please stop being harsh and beating me!" the senior student pleaded.

"Hit? Do you think I was being harsher? Hinata-kun, if I beat the shit out of you the way you deserve, you won't be able to take part in this rally. And it would be for your good," Jun replied after jumping to the ground, away from the youngest man in the group.

Daisuke and Takashi came running.

"What happened? Are you okay, Hinata-kun?" Daisuke asked with a slurred voice. He also had a red nose and cheeks.

"Guys, what's this scandal for? I was just testing my Big Boi." Hinata didn't seem to understand why everyone was so apprehensive.

"Hinata, look around, you nearly destroyed the showroom," Haruki explained.

"And he didn't seem to be in control of the car," Jun added.

And Okami's voice filled the place,

[GENTLEMEN, ATTENTION.] Okami's voice was heard. [MONDE CAR WILL BE CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE.]

"Oh damn! No more drinking," Daisuke complained, and turning to the senior student," You owe me one more round, Hinata-kun."

"So I can work and I get diamonds?" Haruki questioned when Jun told him the other ways to get diamonds.

They had returned to the suite, where they all returned to eat. Because everything in the TMD was paid with diamonds, except the all-inclusive services of the 'Prince's ' cabin, included in Haruki's prize.

Jun had checked out ways to get diamonds other than on the casino. And found that there was a virtual job board with several freelancer positions inside the liner. However, there were a series of prerequisites and requirements to apply for those that paid the best hourly rates.

The baker had seen a Zumba instructor job that he believed Haruki should apply to. The singer went to look at his smartwatch what other works had available for him. And he found that Zumba classes were really his best option. It required High Dexterity _ 80%_ and overall health, and nothing else.

"Hinata-kun, don't be stubborn, you can't drive that monster!" Jun was still mad at the senior student. Hinata didn't want to sell his newly purchased car.

"Huh, what do you mean? Can I sell my stuff too?" Haruki asked.

"Yes, Haruki-san. There's an option inside the inventory. You can sell your items, for a lower price. The system will always buy back for the minimum price. But you can also price your items from a minimum in the 'AUCTION MODE' and see what you get," Takashi started to explain and was interrupted.

"Yes, you will always lose money selling to the system. If I sell Big Boi back to the Store, I will lose 40,000 diamonds!" Hinata was visibly annoyed at having made a bad purchase as Saito said.

"Meow," Mimi was also mad at Jun, who was eating a fried chicken leg and didn't even share with the little puss.

Haruki picked the kitten up and started sharing his food with him.

"Hinata, you can improve your dexterity attributes to control Big Boi," Takashi reminded him.

"Ah. Okay, let me see if I understand. Each of us has a lesser skill, but that can be improved. Also, everyone has a defect by default," Hinata asked Takashi, who nodded.

"My defect is related to my lowest skill. My dexterity is low and I have difficult to increase it, because of my archetype of 'cute boy'. C'mon, just because I have a pretty face! And I don't know how to increase it in time for the competition. And what is your defect, Takashi-san?" The senior student asked directly, embarrassing the visual artist. Takashi revealed, tough,

"I kinda… numb to emotions."

"Pfft, is this a defect?" Daisuke asked.

"Um, I don't understand." Haruki spoke and everyone looked at him, "I thought depression was a disease, not a defect."

"It's not in that sense, Haruki-san. I'm not sad, I'm blasé."

"You or your Nerd character? Because I am not what is here. They put me down as having a low IQ with difficulty learning. But this is the character sheet they made up, not me." Haruki pointed to his smartwatch when telling them about his defect.

"Yes, Haruki-san, my archetype is blasé, not me, actually." Takashi corrected himself. And Hinata looked at Daisuke,

"Daisuke-san what does your character have as a defect?"

"He's a narcissist, and what were the defects for you?" Daisuke responded by putting Jun and Saito in the crosshairs.

"Addicted," Jun shrugged.

"Possessive," Saito replied.

"They aren't balanced to everyone, some can't even be said to be defects, but they seem to be a strong feature." Hinata was still sulking.

"Hinata-kun, for you to improve your body sense and be more agile, expensive training is necessary. Come on Hinata-kun, I'll be your personal trainer."

"Ohh no. Why do I exist! " the senior student complained, while Haruki took him by the shoulders and pushed him to go at once to complete his tasks.

Hinata had to be dragged to the gym, and carried back to the suite, after the Zumba training.

The singer had never trained with anyone as awkward as the senior student who fumbled with the simplest movements. The first half of the class was the singer teaching Hinata how to let go, and the second half teaching the notions of right and left, arm and leg.

Haruki didn't think teaching could be so much fun, and commented excitedly, "Hinata-kun, after a shower we can come back for a second session."

"Senpai there is no way for you to collect the necessary diamonds even to buy the Tata Nano. Please let me sleep, just wake me up on the day the race starts," the senior student spoke softly, letting himself stay where the singer put him.

Haruki stomped out in frustration. He hadn't stopped to do the math, but Hinata did it.

Haruki went to the SPA, he was going to take a shower and finish seeing the personal files and his own file; he needed to concentrate to learn how to use the system.

Saito crept behind him, locking the door.
