Forty Two

George was completely against it and said that inheriting that much power would be more of passing on a curse rather than succeeding great power. Donatello pointed out that I could stand a chance against Zephyr with my power. Joan said that killing one person isn't worth it if I'm going to watch my children and grandchildren die. Nara reminded us that if I don't Zephyr would take over Pasiphae and Ceres and kill us all.

Arthur was also against it and said that I'd become an outcast in my own land if I don't die eventually. Nathaniel broke up the argument and reminded them that it was my decision and my decision alone to make. I turned to Nara, then Joan, then Arthur, Nathaniel, Donatello, and hugged George. I told him that I would be okay before turning to Merlin.

I accepted it and vowed to use my magic for good and help others with it. I turned to everyone in approval and they all supported me. The tears that I was holding back finally broke through and Arthur nuzzled me and comforted me along with everyone else. We were soon in a group hug and Donatello even pulled Merlin in for the hug. We set up camp, and discussed our plan to head west towards the mountains.

That night, I couldn't sleep, so I got up to ask Nara for the flower that made me fall asleep before. I think I should've just stayed in the tent, because I witnessed something I shouldn't have. Nara kissed and confessed to George, who was on night duty.
