Sixty Four

According to what I was told, Arthur ran back to the palace courtyard and found Keith practicing like usual. Arthur went to him and started violently barking and tagging at his trousers. He jokingly asked him where I was, resulting in Arthur barking even louder. He ignored him and tried to continue his training, but Arthur kept on getting in his way. At one point, he picked him up and asked what was wrong, but he couldn't understand dog.

George then ran into the courtyard and saw the commotion. He went up to Keith, bowed, and asked him if he had seen me. He said he hadn't and asked about me, and George said that he hadn't seen me since I stormed out of the room, but thought he that I had gone back to my room. They then looked to Arthur who was still barking at them and realised something was wrong.

Arthur ran off back into the woods, and George and Keith followed him, closely behind. They arrived at the tree I had spent the night in, but there was no sign of me. As they were thinking, they heard a large thud behind them and turned around to see a man with an arrow in his chest. They looked up to see Elizabeth, the source of the arrow. Keith reached out to hug her, but she told them to duck before putting another arrow in the shoulder of the kidnapper behind them.

Keith subdued the man and let Arthur sniff him. His growling signified that he was involved in my kidnapping. George then turned to Elizabeth and asked her why she came alone, but she replied that she didn't as Joan and Nara came out of the woods with horses and supplies. She was worried that the council would use my disappearance as an excuse to delay the battle, so as far as they knew, she was on a hunting trip.

George insisted that the journey would be dangerous, but she said, "They took my sister, and I intend on taking her back. Now. Where is Callisto?" as she grabbed the kidnapper by the collar.
