Turning back Taylor saw Pam with his unsheath axe.
"Just a walk"
Pam stared dumb,
"In the dungeon!"
Taylor chuckled,
"Got a problem. come along."
"I can't leave Miss Michelle's side"
"Then send those people", Taylor pointed at the two level 15 people who are standing guard. One was a young man while the other one was an old man.
Pam looked at Taylor for few seconds, "you have helped miss Michelle and I believe in you"
"And yet you stopped and questioning me"
"Sorry! I was a slave and it was Miss Michelle who freed me"
"I figured as much, but what the hell are you trying to say"
"So my only duty is to protect her"
Taylor stared in amazement at Pam, he can't understand the head or tail of what this guy was trying to say. It was like a riddle to him.
One of the level 15 guards the young man walked to them, "sorry, brother Joker, Pam is not good with words. What he is trying to say is, we need you to clear this dungeon so don't leave. We were all slaves it was miss Michelle who freed us, so we don't want to see her hurdle hard in this dungeon. What we are good at is only fighting. So..."
When the requests bundled up, Taylor stopped him, "Dude, I still haven't gotten the pick I want, so I won't be leaving. I'm just going for a walk"
Waving his hands, Taylor walked into the tunnel.
"Loyalty! it will a big burden for Michelle. She gave you guys the freedom to be free, not to be tied down to her legs."
Taylor's words stunned Pam and the two guards as they gapped at the dark tunnel in silence.
Michelle who was sleeping inside a small curtain had a small smile on her face.
Walking to the unnamed dark cave where the party fought level ten Flame Wolf, Taylor pulled out his warblade with a guilty look on his face, "im sorry my dear warblade, you have traveled back in time to be with me. Yet im gonna use you for such a disgraceful act"
Hardening his resolve, Taylor induced dark mana into the warblade creating a black light to form, "im so sorry"
Numerous blacklights slashed the walls of the cave and the solid wall started to crumble into a large chunk of rocks.
Crash...
Bang...
Clang...
After five minutes or so the bombardment of the black light ended and the dust of smoke clouding the cave started to subside little by little.
When the dust settled down, Taylor stood in the center of the debris-filled cave. The debris didn't only consist of rocks on the wall, but also many red transparent crystals about the size of an adult human head. These are the mineral of the dungeon.
Taylor surveyed the dungeon from the moment they entered and he couldn't find a single plant or life forms other than the wolves, so he concluded that this cave should have minerals, hidden behind the wall of the tunnel and cave.
Even as he conquered several dungeons in the past, all he did was capture the dungeon key. He never harvested the plants or the mineral from the dungeon, he had people do that for him.
However as fate would have it, he is now poor and the best choice would be to raid these minerals. But the only weapon he has that could cut through these walls and the crystal is the warblade. So at last with no other choice, he had to use them.
'If it was beast or monster to be cut down I'm the best', Taylor felt more remorse for using his dear Warblade that has been in countless battles with him for cutting rocks.
'Just you wait a little more, once I get my hands on the Boss soul, I feed it to you'
Not wasting any more time he started to pocket the red crystals into his inventory,
'Even as people tell the inventory is limitless, it isn't so'
Taylor knows the capacity of the inventory is 50 blocks. 50 blocks mean you can only hold 50 different types of materials in your inventory.
For example, Flame Wolf meat occupies one block while snake meat occupies another block. He can store an unlimited amount of Flame wolf meat, however, if he wants to store Dark wolf meat, it will take another block in where he can store unlimited.
This is the unlimited inventory the fairy tells about while entering the Fantasy World.
The reason he didn't tell Michelle and the others about these minerals is that he wants all of it and to hide the fact about the space inventory.
The people of this world use space rings and space bracelets for storing items. Only the ones who travel from Nova use space inventory.
These guys think of him as the native of Fantasy World. If they knew he was from Nova, Taylor can't fathom their reactions.
Because some people accept this change, the help of Higher Existence to connect two worlds to help one another, while some may have a different opinion and hate people of Nova.
So he hid the fact he was from Nova and didn't want to expose himself, stocking the crystals alone.
Not more than two hours Taylor walked back into the cave where the party rests, packing up all the red crystal he mined to his inventory. Now with all the material he already had, 30 blocks of his inventory are filled up.
He was vacant as he walked past Pam who was questioning him what was he doing, 'damn, I remember the name of the crystal. It's..its...'
Shit! I can't remember.
