Taylor stood leaning on the wall next to Michelle starting at the Green glowing stone with a leaf engraved on its surface.
Taylor was caught easily after all his plans.
Unknown to him, a level 18 person stood along with the level 15 guards of Michelle. As he coolly robbed the red crystals, this man used some shady techniques to tail behind him and saw everything. He was the old man that stayed awake among the two guards other than Pam.
However, instead of chasing Taylor out or asking back the crystals, he proposed something ridiculous.
Quest: Zeraf the protector of Michelle asks you to teach her killing skills so that she can protect herself from dangers.
Reward: Natural Wind Crystal.
He even gave the reward even before the quest began. His reason for this absurd request is that they have all been saved by Michelle and they don't have the will to be harsh with her. And she doesn't want to learn the sword.
'They are pathetic to think bow's don't wield equal power to the sword', Taylor fumed, 'Well, these guys are gladiators who fought in the arena to death. Muscle heads.'
That old man seeing the attack power of Taylor inside the cave asked him to teach her sword skills.
'Bow's are for cowards'
The first word that came to his mind on their explanation about bow and sword,
"Hypocrites"
Taylor waked up the sleeping Michelle, even as Pam complained not to, "wasn't you the one who asked me to help her"
Pam felt being stick between knives,
"Yes. But have can you disturb her sleep"
"Why don't you carry her in your arms and tell bedtime stories", Taylor gave a grumpy look, "If what you said is true and you want her to be strong, then she needs to toughen up"
Pam still looked anxious, so Taylor raised his tone, "Look at her, she is in a dungeon and she is sleeping soundly without any worries. Just think for a second, if some powerful enemy attacks, she won't even know how she died"
Convincing Pam, Taylor finally plunged Michelle out of her dream.
Opening her hazy eyes, she stretched her hand a bit, "Hey, good morning. Bring me a cup of honey tea"
Ahhh...
Coldwater splashed on her face. Michelle blinked several times before realizing where she was, "You are... Yes, Joker"
Her face turned red in awkwardness, "Sorry, I was in a deep sleep. Did it already past five hours"
"No, it has been only three hours"
"What! Why did you wake me up now"
"To train you"
"Train me, who? You.", she stared at Pam and the old man, Zeraf behind Taylor, "Come on, im level 12 and he is only level 10, still you joke he will train me"
"Pam, pull her up"
Pam sounded weakened as Michelle gave him puppy eyes, "Mr. Joker, let me explain it to her"
"Wishy-washy", saying that he held Michelle's hand and dragged her into the tunnel where the assassin spied the existence of the level 12 Flame Wolf pack.
Pam too walked behind them, but Taylor stopped him, "I will take it from here. You know how it works"
"But...", Pam stared at the emptiness as Taylor disappeared with Michelle into the tunnel.
The old man walked to him, " I will look after her", he transformed into a shadow amd disappeared into the tunnel.
"What are you doing, we will be dead if we enter there alone", Michelle struggled to get free from his grasp, "Let go of my hand"
Getting out of his grip, Michelle pulled out her bow and arrows from her storage ring.
Loading an arrow she looked at Taylor terror-stricken, "don't tell me you came to assassinate me"
"I could have done that in your sleep", hearing him, she looked perplexed.
He closed in on her, "Give me your bow and arrow"
"No"
"Come on"
Reluctant to the part she gave the bow and an arrow to Taylor, getting the bow in his hand he rejoiced, 'it feels like an eternity since I last touched this'
"Watch me closely", saying that he walked deeper, and now both of them could see the level 12 Flame Wolf pack.
Six wolves lay in the middle while four wolf circles around the cave.
They hid behind a huge boulder outside the cave entrance.
Gazing at the wolves a head taller than level 11 that was already 10 feet tall and the ferocious demonic flames around their body made Michelle gasp, "They are way more powerful than the ones before, let's rush back now"
"I asked you to look at me, not those beasts"
'To me, you look more of a beast than them. I'm afraid of you more than them'
Not letting her thought slip out, she answered him, "Yes"
"The skill I'm gonna teach you is Peirce Strike"
"Peirce Strike is a skill in which you channel your mana focusing on the tip of your arrowhead."
She interrupted him, "aren't you gonna teach me a sword"
"They are just fools. For me weapon is a weapon, it only matters who handles it"
The sharp head of the arrow Taylor was pointing at the wolf started to glow black.
He once again began to explain, "In the beginning, it will be difficult as the mana will dissipate from the arrowhead. For that what you have to do is control the flow of mana and concentrate so that mana doesn't dissipate."
"See, now it's complete."
The arrow tip had an extra black layer of cover.
Michelle nodded at once, "Yes. It looks powerful so is the class over. Can we go back now?"
Taylor's eyebrows twitched, "Quit interfering, now is the important part."
"I will take care of seven Flame Wolf."
"What about the rest?"
"You are gonna take care of them."
"No way, we can't I can't, let's go back."
"If you want to, let's go back"
Michelle smiled as Taylor said let's go back, but then,
Swish...
Crack...
Puchi...
Taylor lets go of his arrow and it pierced a fist-size hole in the head of a Flame Wolf.
Growl...
Awoooo...
Grrrrr...
Seeing their comrade die, the rest of Wolves turned to them and howled.
Taylor walked from behind the boulder throwing the longbow to Michelle, "you can run back. But I will only kill six more wolves."
Drawing his warblade, Taylor pointed at the tunnel behind her, "Which means the rest will rush through the tunnel and kill everyone sleeping on the other side"
"Now the choice is yours, kill or be killed"
Michelle brimmed with anger,
"You are worst"
"Nah... You haven't seen the worst of me yet", Taylor jumped into the fray of wolves rushing towards them and cut the jaws of the first wolf that barred its fangs at him, from its body.
Grwww...
The painful cry of the wolf shook her heart,
"Just who the hell is he"
