Chapter Hundred & Fourteen: Past: Dark See's Dark

A knock on the door interrupted me from my work in my office, I was trying to complete a few documents for Monica as she needed to know what was done by Michael and what was still missing.

So every single employee had double the work today that was due today. She wasn't playing games with anyone and I understood why. She was given his workload abruptly and there was no time for her to take a seat back so that she could grieve.

"Please have a seat, I'll be with you in a second, I just have to sign these last few pages," I said out loud, not bothering to look up from the papers as I had reached the last one.

As soon as I was done, I rolled the chair to the side and stacked the last sheets of paper onto a machine crate so that they could be scanned and saved onto the memory stick. That way she would have my work in her hands soon and not have to deal with the tangible.
