Chapter Hundred & Nineteen: Past: Tremor Turmoil

Voices

We could hear them. Both man and woman, I was sure of it. They seemed to be having a conversation about someone, so it brought me some hope that they were at least distracted and not on guard.

A part of me hoped that there wasn't anyone else in the building. That way we wouldn't have to worry about hurting someone else.

I aimed to find the man that killed my grandfather and that was it. Not to kill another innocent man, even if they were guilty of other crimes.

I just wanted to avenge one crime. The murder of the man that should've been there for me with me and not a man who's watching over me.

Well, I hoped he watched over me.

Martin and I both drew closer to the corner. Both indicting that we should keep quiet and quietly peer over.

We both peeked at first just to see how they were standing and we were relieved to see both of them too immersed in their conversation to notice us.

Thanks Padre
