Chapter Hundred & Sixty-Eight: Past: Scrubbing Dotted Red

Her breaths were shallow as she stared at the golden brown wooden floor that was stained with the red dots of blood. She felt her body shake slightly with fear but mainly with shock as she had never thought that she would ever be in such a predicament.

She slowly raised her hand towards her face and quickly flinched when she felt the pain on the side of her face. When she looked at her hands, she was shocked to see the blood on them. Slowly raising her head up, she turned to lock eyes with the man that did this.

"You slapped me," she said softly, not removing her gaze from him.

Unico had never in her life been slapped by a man. The men in her family had made sure to raise her in a loving environment unless she was in training. They had taught her how to defend herself and how to never let her guard down. They had been there setting an example of how men were supposed to be.
