Chapter Two: Hundred & Twenty-Seven: Present: Daddy says bye

The smell of roses was strong in the room. It slightly took away the smell of the medication and hospital sterilization making it a bit more comfortable to be in the room. The room had a great view of the beach and parts of the forest I hadn't truly seen in years making me wish to explore like I did when I was younger again. this is was a room meant to make one truly wonder about life and sync into the realization that sometimes the loudness was just a piece of everything.

My steps were slow as I walked deeper into the room, knowing that the owner couldn't see behind him unless he cranked his head in an uncomfortable position. The carpet drowned out the sound of my slippers and when my bare feet touched it, the softness caressed my feet, drowning its sound by itself as I moved closer to the bed.
