Lex's Ex

Not feeling so well today because of last night, he saw his love hugging another man and kissing, what a loser am I, Lex blankly throw his sight outside the window of the caffe.

He came by himself to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Back then, Lex would spend his night crying over Yori, but now it's not really feel hurt seeing her with someone else but surely there is an empty hole inside Lex heart, the one that Yori leaves.

Thinking about someone special who might fill that hole, the only one person who pop in lex mind is only Kenzou, damn it!!

"I think I'm smart enough to choose one of the beautiful girls in this university, why now that guy pop on my head?!" Lex pressing his own hair tries to get rid on this bullshit inside his head.

That when he sees Shim, his classmates, Shim looking around and his eyes stop at Lex who is looking at him too.

Shim casually wave and after got his order he walks toward Lex to joining him.

" Hi.....alone? Can I sit with you?" Shim have a seat even before Lex agree to it.

Lex continue looking outside without really mind about Shim who now sitting in the same table with him.

"Missing someone?" Shim slurping his coffee, Lex didn't answer and he didn't move even an inch, the same pose looking outside while nothing really there to see.

"Where is Kenzou? He didn't came to class too this morning...aren't he with you?" Shim keep cool though there is no answer.

"Kenzou? I saw him getting ready to-go this morning"

Lex's remembered saw Kenzou with different style this morning. He dressed up.

"I don't know where he is" coldly answering then read a message from his friend in work. They ask him to join the work in an event today.

Actually Lex have enough money  to spend his youthness leasury but he really likes to kill time by working, plus working in such place is helping him release his stress.

" Aahhh I remember that Kiyo told me yesterday that he would like to do something" Shim snapped his fingers

"Okay...I need to go, enjoy your coffee" Lex leaving and he don't want to hear more about Kiyo and Kenzou. Just let them be if they're have something special between them, his feeling still stuck, don't want to think right now.

Lex and the team went to a big building in the evening for preparing the things they needs to heat up the birthday party tonight. While working with the team his phone ringing

Someone's calling, Lex take the phone out from his pocket

It's Yori....!!

Lex reluctantly answer the call

"Hello Lex.....is it you?" Yori voices mixed with barely cry, it make Lex a bit worry

"Yes it me" Lex tried to control his feeling so that Yori won't realise his worries

" I'm in Korea now....I want to meet you... Do you have time? I missed you so much " Yori tell the reason why she called.

Lex feel like a dumb

"Just last night I saw you with your man and now you saying you miss me so much, if I hadn't saw you last night I might believe you now but it's now different"

"I'm working now....I can't leave now" Lex telling the truth

"Oh....sorry disturbing your work. But... can you spare your time tomorrow for me?" Yori barely begging

Lex think some time

"Well then, see you tomorrow... Text me the place i'll come"

"Thanks Lex"

After end the call, Lex back to his friends because the party about to start inside. He walk toward the bar and continue prepare the drinks before the place packed  with crowd.

This birthday party start with special speech from the birthday one, the crowd in silent when one handsome and tall young man up to the stage.

"Good evening everyone, thanks so much for coming to my party....hope you guys enjoy until the end, thanks so much" he takes a bow as his grateful.

Lex staring at the boys and find out that is his classmates Kiyo so this is his birthday party, if Kiyo is here, there must be Kenzou too.

Lex looking around but it's now crowd, impossible to find Kenzou even if he here he must be with Kiyo on their table.

"Hi again...." The only one face that Lex recognise beside his workmates is this boy who pop up in front of him, it Shim again.

"Hi, some drink?" Lex asking as worker

"Martine please...so this is your work?" Shim casually sit beside a beautiful girl, the girl seems like she is interest in shim. Lex nodding while making the order.

"Hi....are you kiyo's friends too? My name is Wina, I'm his classmates in high school" the girl introduce herself, Shim smile widely reaching out the girl's hand shake.

"I'm his friends since kindergarten.... Shim"

"Wow.....you guys must be close since you know each other since young" the girl amaze

"Yeah something like that"

They continue their conversation, from the other side, there coming Kiyo and Kenzou to have a drink.

"Two glass of whiskey please, oh.....Lex?" Kiyo looks surprise knowing his classmates work on his party, Kenzou's brows raise upon his startled hearing Lex's name.

"Hi there...." Lex casually wave and continue mix the liquor. He pour them into three glass, give out one for each Kiyo and Kenzou "happy birthday man" he tossed with them and drink.

Kenzou silently enjoy his drink while thinking

"so this is what he did, his life looked so fine, he even have car....why working off his ass off"

Kenzou looking around watch the crowd enjoy the beat of the music by DJ.

Shim is already disappeared from the sight, with the girl.

A group of people come near Kiyo, they are his friends from company relationship. Kiyo is well known as the heir of the family business that's he close with the heirs of other companies. Kiyo have a conversation with those guys while Kenzou watching Lex working.

"So this is what you do every night? Working? " Kenzou asking a question between the beat of loud music.

"Yeah,I like this job...." Lex answering, his hand keep working, Lex suddenly stopped from his moves and he eyes on a girl.

Kenzou secretly looking at who is this girl could be, a beautiful, tall and fair girl standing beside the bar. Look's like she didn't notice that someone is now watching her.

Lex is puts back the shaker and toward the girl, Kenzou just watching, before Lex reach the girl someone, a man came closer to the girl and leisurely have her on his arm.

At this time Kenzou think Lex will stop, surprisingly he keep walking and reach the girl hand. The girl looked back and her face like she is seeing a ghost, pale and shock.

"Lex....?? How did you find me?" Yori slowly remove the boy hand on her shoulder, seems like she really still has the feeling for Lex.

" I work here....I just saw you" Lex staring into Yori's eyes, finding the answer of "did you really still has that feeling for me".

"Excuse me man....sorry for interrupting you two but let me join too, I'm her fiancée... My name is Jinwu" the man beside Yori introduced himself to Lex.

"I'm her ex.....nice to meet you" Lex shake hand with Jinwu "see you again Yori" Lex walk to the bar to back to work, he really didn't care what will happen next between Yori and her fiancée.

Kenzou just watching from his seat what was happening.  Because he couldn't clearly heard what they said he just guessing in his heart, that girl must be someone important for Lex.

The party end almost at 3. Though there are some who still stay for smoking, some are drunk, and some are just enjoy the night outside the building.

Lex finished packing the bottles and the glasses into the truck. He has a bottle of whisky on his hand, smoking outside his car, staring at the clear night sky.

"Not going home yet?" Kenzou voice come from side, Lex couldn't find Kiyo around Kenzou

"The sky is looking nice tonight...." Lex continue drink and smoking without looking at Kenzou who is now joining him sit in the baggage of Lex car.

"Aren't you too drunk to drive now?" Kenzou take out the cigarette from Lex's cigarette package, burn it and start smoking.

"Huh? It's okay for me....I can drive normally even if I drunk, that's just so weird but for real" Lex scratch his arm, one tiny mosquito sucking his blood there.

"You shouldn't do that, that dangerous driving in such condition"

They in silent for a while, until Kenzou phone ringing

"Hello....I'm with friend now, ah...no need, i'll going home with this fellas later....it's okay...thank for tonight" Kenzou put back his phone to his pocket.

"You can come home with me tonight.... I'll show you how great I am driving while drunk" Lex words start sound like he is drunk, actually he is. Kenzou took the car key from Lex

"Why?? You didn't trust me?" He babbling

"I trust you, but later after you get back your conscious"

They fighting over the car key, Lex drunkenly try to take back his car key but now Kenzou is  the less one with alcohol and he feel more likely has right to drive than Lex.

"Excuse me..." a soft voice intrupting during the drunken fight between these boys.

"Lex.....it's me Yori" the girl come closer to Lex who is now 50% unconscious.

"Hi Yori,....is that you? What is the matter? ....why are you here?"  Lex stopped from trying to get back his car key. Kenzou politely leave them and sneak into the car, get ready to drive whenever Lex coming in.

"I can't stop thinking about you, you can call me whatever you like but my feeling still the same for you....I really miss you Lex" Yori come closer and hug Lex.

Though his feeling not really the same now but Lex is miss her too.for all this time is being hard because their separation slowly Lex moving his hand to hug Yori too.

After a while they deep into their feeling, Lex slowly release Yori from his embrace.

The whole things inside Lex feel so warm after this hug, it's feel so good can hold this girl back into his arm, feel so nice can see this girl from this close again.

Lex had monologue his own.

"Did you ever miss me once....you never try to call me even on my SNS" Yori wipes her tears, she felt so happy that Lex seems still had the feeling for her too.

"I won't do that even if I want to... Listen Yori, remember things that separate us before, I love you just like your parent love you....but the way we love you is different, I can't meet you like this anymore" Lex step back and let yori's go

"please do not come closer....you should obey your parent so that you won't regret anything in future.....at least you try your best being a daughter" Lex turn around to join Kenzou inside the car.

Yori run and give Lex a back hug. " I'm still love you...please don't do this to me.....please stay with me....nobody can replace your place to me, remember all the bad time we've been through before.,..let me go like I am nothing for you is more hurt than anything" Yori crying in Lex's back

Lex actually knows how Yori's feeling now but imagine that her fiancée know she still had feeling for her ex will make a dangerous future for her, though Lex know that Yori is a strong girl that can handle a man but still they just start their relationship and now Lex feel sorry for introducing himself to her fiancée.

"Please Yori...." Lex turn around and wipe Yori tears "you don't have to be like this.....imagine that your fiancée seeing you hugging another man,

imagine how hurtful is that for him too...now we are have grown, our past was the best time we ever had, now try to face what is adult decide for us, didn't you remember our promised? We will live happily and find someone to taking care of" Lex softly says while fixing Yori's coat.

Yori looks into Lex eyes. There is something different in Lex eyes now, he didn't the same as back then anymore though she can see some love there.

" I saw you grown a bit than me he he..." Yori laugh with tears on her eyes " I'm happy to see you this strong now, back then you will cry with me too if I'm cried but now you must had through tough time lead you to this mature side of you..... I'll try my best to stay happy to fulfill our promised " Yori now sounds like she now have a new purpose.

"I'll send you home..." Lex bring Yori to his car, he just remember that they have Kenzou with them " oh....Yori, this is my roommate Kenzou, Kenzou this is Yori " Lex introduce them

"Hi, nice to meet you...." Kenzou shakes hand with Yori

"Hmm...aren't you the guys with Kiyo before? I saw you in his car before..." Yori just realise she saw this man before

"Yes I am, he is my friend...." Kenzou answer without knowing anything in Yori mind now, just then Yori whisper to Lex

"Kiyo is my fiancée best friend.... Do you think this guy know my fiancée too?"

"I don't know.....that okay, I'll taking care of that later"

Kenzou driving to the address that Yori tell him, on their way to the hotel where Yori stay, only Yori and Lex sometime made short conversation while Kenzou just silently driving, he play the music so that is not so awkward for him in his silence.

Arrive in the hotel, Yori and Lex get out from the car.

"So this is where you stay? Did you stay by yourself here?" Lex hand out Yori's bag while Yori fix her coat.

"No...I have Winzy here....I ask her to stay with me during my stay in Korea, you remember Winzy? The cute curly cousin I told you before" Yori remember she told Lex about her family in Korea once.

"Aahhhh that one, don't stay up late okay....take care of your health" Lex let Yori hand go but she hold on

" You too....don't miss me so much because i'll miss you that much too. Please tell me I had a great youth if we meet again in the future okay" she touch Lex cheeks as a sign of she didn't want to go, Lex with heavy heart, smile and nodding, he try his best to hold his tears. The atmosphere getting sad because now Yori is crying and Lex can't do anything about this.

"I hope you will find someone who love you more than I do then I won't regret letting you go....be nice to your father, forgive him for what he have done to you, I'll try my best to please my parent too...." Yori speaks with tears continually falling down from her eyes

"I'll try but I can't promise you anything, now go inside....it's cold here....I'll watch you go inside to make sure you not going to somewhere else to cry....don't cry that hard, you looked so ugly if your eyes swollen in the morning" Lex referred to the day that they spend crying all day long together in NY after their parent announced their war.

Yori laughing between her crying....she know that she will miss this man so much than anyone else on this world. Yori can help but give Lex a goodbye kiss on his lips.

This time she really go inside and disappear from their sight as she enter the elevator. Lex went to parking area where Kenzou parked the car, there Kenzou still wait for him.

Seeing Lex come Kenzou start the engine, though he didn't know what happened between Lex and that girl he just sure that it's not something easy, that why he didn't speak or asking Lex a question. Lex is too tired to tell story and explain something useless to Kenzou, he just falling sleep on their way back home.

Arrived at home Lex still sleep, it's almost 5 in the dawn.

"Lex....wake up, we are home" Kenzou tap Lex shoulder, lazily Lex wake up, going straight to the bedroom while Kenzou park the car in parking lot beside the house.

Kenzou enter the bedroom and change his clothes, the other side of this bedroom is Lex snoring softly facing the wall. Kenzou put the car key on the drawer beside Lex bed, Kenzou looking at Lex face and realised there is tears on his eyes. His life must be so tough that he cry in his sleep....he look so strong but seems like he is not that strong, Kenzou take off lex shoes, then he leaves to wash up.
