Sign These Papers

Gianna was feeling very impatient, it has been many hours since she was kidnapped, yet she was not rescued by anyone. She knew that the location of her kidnapping must be hard to find and others might not even know whom she had been captivated by. All she could do at that moment was to pray to God for her safety and to get free from there.

Whereas Amelia couldn't sleep for the whole night in worry, about her sister. Amelia called the police for help, but they told her to contact them after 24 hours of her missing. Amelia called some of her contacts from the underworld boxing clubs she had worked with and asked for their help, but they declined as Amelia had not participated in the fights since a few months. She felt so agitated and lost, Charlie came whining to her, as if asking her about Gianna's whereabouts.

"Don't worry Charlie, she will come back I will try my best to save her. Go eat your food." Amelia said pointing towards his food bowl, he just looked at the food bowl and looked away, going to his fluffy bed and going to sleep with a sad expression. Amelia sighed, she couldn't force him to eat when she herself had nothing since the whole morning.

Xavier told Adam to find some way to contact the Black Panthers. Adam came into action and told the men to call all the mafias they knew. Some men were sent to find the frequent locations where different mafias gather and visit. Finally, after trying for a few hours they got a number of a member of the Black Panthers. They called the number and a man picked up the call.

"Sei un membro delle Pantere Nere?" Adam asked him. [Are you a member of the Black Panthers?]

"Sì, ma tu chi sei? Cosa vuoi?" The man replied. [Yes, but who are you? What do you want?]

"Sono de 'Le Fiamma Del Mondo'. Siete stati voi a rapire Gianna? Lasciala andare, dicci cosa vuoi?" Adam said in a cold voice. [I'm from Le Fiamma Del Mondo. Were you the ones who kidnapped Gianna? Let her go, tell us what you want?]

"S-So what!? We don't want anything, my boss has not allowed us to reveal anything!" The man started talking English in fear and started stuttering. He immediately hung the call and switched off his phone.

"Fanculo!" Adam exclaimed in anger as soon as the call was cancelled. [F*ck!]

Xavier sighed and with a curious look stared at Adam.

"He gave a vague answer and told me that they don't want anything from us." Adam said.

"They don't want anything from us, so why did they kidnap Gianna? I just hope they don't take advantage of Gianna in a bad way." Xavier said as he facepalmed and groaned in anger and sadness.

"What if they want something from Gianna and not from us?" Adam said while thinking deeply. Xavier nodded in approval. He called the assistant inside using the intercom.

"I want all the details about Black Panthers, don't leave even a small unnecessary information behind. I want to know who they are and what they want!" Xavier said in a cold menacing voice like a flame in rage.

"Why're you not letting me go? What do you want from me Robert!?" Gianna said in a loud voice as she struggled to open her tied wrist. She was trying to escape earlier, so she got tied again.

"Well... wait a little longer, the thing I want from you will arrive very soon dear." Robert said making Gianna frown.

"Robert what you're doing is not good. Let me go, you don't have any right to force me to do anything!" Gianna exclaimed, and she stood up from the floor, ready to run outside wherever her mind takes her. But unfortunately, Robert caught hold of her arm and pushed her hard, she fell on the floor with loud thump and because of her thigh-length dress, her thighs got scraped in the process. Little blood started oozing out of her wounds and she groaned in pain.

"If you want you and your sister to live... shut your mouth and silently eat your lunch before I kidnap your sister too, do you want that? Do you want your sister to get tortured because of your stupidity!?" Robert exclaimed and smirked. Obviously these were empty blackmailing words, Amelia was very strong enough to fight back his men and he didn't want to decrease his strength of men because Moretti family might fight with him. But the words were scary enough for Gianna to sit up obediently and eat her food silently while trembling in fear and pain. Gianna couldn't control her tears, and they started flowing down her cheeks and chin.

"Please Robert at least tell me the reason why have you kidnapped me..." Gianna said in a low voice while sniffing.

"Patience dear. Have patience." Robert said, soon the door opened and Elias Allen, son of Robert Allen, came inside with some papers in his hand and handed them to his father. Gianna came to know his name just a few hours ago when she was trying to listen what the men outside were speaking.

"Look. The thing we wanted from you is here. Trust me Gianna, I gave a lot of sweat to search you throughout 2–3 cities just to have your signature in these f*cking papers!" Robert said in anger making Gianna flinch in fear.

"W-what papers?" Gianna asked curiously.

"First I had a plan in my mind to adopt you and make you give up everything by yourself to me and my son, but now I don't think these adoption papers are required when you already know everything now." Gianna was feeling very confused and sad at the same time while listening to his words. Robert gave the adoption papers back to Elias and threw some papers on Gianna's lap.

"Sign these papers." Robert ordered in a cold voice.

"First tell me what're these papers!" Gianna was not going to sign without knowing the content.

"You want to know? Alright, I can tell you. This is the headquarters of Black Panthers where you are sitting right now." As soon as she heard Black Panthers, she gasped loudly.

"What? Did your mother tell you to be away from Black Panthers? I knew it. How rude of your parents to abandon the mafia, they started!" Robert exclaimed as he insulted her parents in front of her.

"Did you not know? Your father was the founder and main boss of this mafia! He and your mother together made this mafia earn some fame in the mafia world. Now you must know this fact that, I was just a minion in this mafia. Your father hired me just because I'm his brother! They treated me like their servant!"

"No!! My parents were not like that!" Gianna exclaimed.

"Whatever, I don't care. I made their men come on my side and I took over the mafia from your father illegally. I was the one who assigned men to kill your family so that all your possessions, mafia, and properties get transferred to me legally, it was not Moretti family who tried to kill you people! It was me! In fact, your father and Lorenzo Moretti were going to make a deal and form friendship between the two mafias." Robert exclaimed and laughed as if he had conquered the whole world. Elias just smirked whereas Gianna was continuously crying, remembering what her mother told her while she was dying. She had told to stay away from Black Panthers, and this was the reason why.

"Then I took over this mafia, but I came to know I cannot possess anything because the sole heirs are still alive! I couldn't even make deal with Moretti family because I was not the real owner of mafia at that time and I had nothing to possess! You don't even know how much I searched for you both! Now sign these papers and hand over everything to me!!" Robert shouted at Gianna making her flinch again in fear. She continued wailing for her parents. She was unable to control her emotions. She never knew that her parents were working in a mafia and what came as a shock for her was Moretti family was also a mafia family!

She had been kept in darkness by her parents and the people whom she had trusted and loved with her whole heart. Furthermore, she felt so miserable and sad, she was not worried about her parent's possessions being handed over to this monster, what hurt her more was she had been betrayed by her love too.

"You want me to sign these... *sniff* you could've told me to do so when you came to my apartment." Gianna sniffed her nose and wiped her tears away. Robert was shocked and confused, he looked at Elias in shock. Elias just shrugged.

"I and Amelia never knew about Black Panthers. We don't want this mafia anyway, we also don't want these 'possessions' you talk about, we're happy how we live, I don't want unnecessary greed of something, we don't even possess." Gianna said and she pointed out for a pen. Elias opened her tied hands, handed her a pen and brought her hand to the places where there was a need to sign. Gianna silently signed all the papers and dropped the pen on the floor silently.

She lost everything of her family without even possessing them ever in her life. At that moment, they heard huge bangs of gunshots and doors being banged open. Robert and Elias looked at each other and rushed outside the room. Xavier and Adam had arrived with their men, and they were killing all the men who were guarding the building with clear and perfect headshots. Robert and Elias came downstairs and their eyes opened wide in shock. The men caught hold of Robert and Elias from behind and made them kneel on the floor with big rifles pointing to their heads.

Gianna slowly came out of the room as they had left open the door of the room. Gianna slowly and steadily walked, sometimes she tripped by some objects as she didn't have her cane and she was not familiar with the path. As soon as she reached the stairs, Xavier saw her and came rushing up the stairs. He caught her arm and scanned her whole body for any injuries or sign of torture, he spotted a wound on her thighs and few rope marks on her wrist. He gritted his teeth in anger and hugged her, but she stood still, fixed in her position without hugging him back. Xavier thought she must've been shocked to hear so many gunshot sounds and bangs, she must be in a shock phase.

He softly places his hands on both of her shoulders and calmly guided her down the stairs. Xavier signalled his men to take Robert and Elias away with them to headquarters. Adam bent down and took the papers which Robert and Elias had dropped on the floor. His eyes widened in shock as he scanned through the papers. he looked at Gianna as she was going with Xavier outside the building. Adam took all the papers with him and followed behind them. The rest of the men started investigating the building, if they get any other clue or object to blackmail Robert and Elias.
