Never Ending Nightmares

"You're nothing but a wretched child."

"That woman must be stupid enough to give birth to you."

"No one has ever been so pathetic like you."

"You are better off dead."

"Trash."

"DIE!"

All those words kept haunting me, but i'm too numb to even feel anything. Everything feels numb, and i couldn't care less anymore. The darkness that surrounds me gets colder on each second passing by.

I curled into a ball at a corner, and i felt my fingertips unable to move. My hands were getting slowly consumed by ice, and i just accepted the fact that this was my fate.

To freeze to death... what's the purpose of fighting if the future holds me nothing.

Living would be pointless.

Utterly useless.

But there's still a part of that wanted to---

"Hudson, wake up! Wake up!" My eyes opened as i heard Olivia's voice. I saw her at the door of my room peeking at me.

"W-What is it Olie?" I asked.

"It's already dinner, aren't you hungry?"

"It is? I'll be there in a minute."

"Okidoki, i'll set up our plates!" Then she left.

I noticed that my covers were on the corner, still folded. No wonder i can really feel the coldness in my dream, my fingers were also numb from the cold. Winter is such a nasty season indeed.

Walking into the dining room, Olie was still fixing the table. Her adorable little self gets me every time. Seeing her all moving and trying really makes her too cute.

"Let me help Olie." I said.

She let me fix up the plates and the table covers. It's kind of amusing that a kid her age do things like this. She's quite mature and understanding.

As everything was set up, we were already ready for dinner. "So what's tonights' dinner, Olie?"

"It's meatloaf! Our neighbor Justin gave it to me earlier while you were sleeping, i also thanked him since i'm a good girl!" She proudly said.

"Our neighbor is a very nice person, isn't he?"

"He really is, he also gave me some of their left overs the other day." I felt a bit in dismay through her words.

"Justin---no, i think..." i didn't know what to tell Olie about Justin. But it was a bad feeling about that guy.

"Hm? What about him?"

"Just... just don't accept things that much from him."

"Why not? He's a very kind person. He gives us spare of his food sometimes." Kindness doesn't even exist in this world. That man probably has some intentions.

"Nevermind then..." or it's just probably me being a bit jealous.

After dinner, i quickly fixed myself up for work. Leaving Olie was always such a sad feeling for me, i always wanted to stay by her side. But someone has to work and get money, and that someone is me.

"Do you really have to go now Hudson? Can't you just stay here?" She asked me, she's very upset that i had to leave her too soon.

"I have to, Olie. Don't you want me to buy the toy you wanted?" She pouted and rolled her eyes.

"I do, but it wouldn't be worth it if i can't play it with you."

Ah my heart.

"Ah my little sweet Olie!" I picked her up and hugged her like a doll. She got annoyed with me being like this, but it was her fault being too cute and honest like that.

"I promise, after these three to four days, i'll take a week off and spend some time with you." I gladly said.

Then her sour look turned sweet. "Really!? You'd do that?!"

"Anything for you Olie!"

"Ah! I'm so excited!"

After a few minutes of talking with Olivia, i finaly get to go. While walking to the train station, i checked the list on the small notebook i had on my coats pocket.

1. Miller Northwhite ×

2. Henry Lyre Woolstein

3. Jeremiah Gabeslock

4. Franciscia Dellavè ×

5. Erwin Brookes

6. Victor Heignz III

After taking out the two bastards, i still had to take out four more. As of now, that Woolstein shall come next. And i'll be sure to give him the very worst that he deserves.

Just you wait Woolstein.
