"Pack your things. We're leaving in the morning," he ordered lightly, smiling at me. "And thank you, for everything you did back there." I was taught to be violent with them, and when you protected your pack you showed true leadership there. A warrior. You changed my pack for the better. They like you more than me."
I lift myself from the couch and make to him. I stand in front of him, his golden eyes already enchanting me. I touched his face and he immediately snuggled into my touch, but his eyes were full of curiosity. I pulled him closer, his lips only centimeters away from mine. He leaned in further, a whisper between our faces. I smirked and kissed his cheek then ran up the stairs, going into the bedroom and pulling out the suitcase I brought my stuff in. I put in some shirts, some jenas, some shorts, then my boots, throwing in my undergarments in the bottom pocket. I rolled my eyes the word undergarments and zipped everything up, knowing some of my stuff will be at my house that I can pick up later.
I looked up and found Zavier's eyes, my mark now blazing. Desire rolled off his body again, making me shiver. I rubbed one arm nervously and he smirked, leaning down to my sitting position and kissing me, our lips desperately locked together. I held onto him like he was a life source and he picked me up and placed me on the bed. This time I was not going to stop him like yesterday. He stopped kissing me and looked at me for reassurance. I nodded and he continued to kiss me, his hands under my shirt and on my bare hips.
Now everything was final. I could never leave him or be separated from him otherwise I would have to suffer the major pain of Zavier not being with me. My heart would throb whenever he was too far away from me, and my emotions would tell me to do things I wouldn't normally do. Great, there will be another version of Nylarizza that I didn't want my brother to see. A romantically active Nylarizza with a large heart and eyes for only Zavier. I never want to see this Nylarizza again, so I'll push her down.
I like my normal Nylarizza. Sarcastic, caring, strong and determined. Yeah, that's going to be me always. Not ever going to show romantic Nylarizza to the world. That was only for Zavier, and he never teased me about it. He always will see me as my best Nylarizza. The one that claimed my fudge before I accepted him. Ha! That Nylarizza will always be my favorite.
But, this was the night Aria had wanted ever since we saw his eyes. She wanted to claim him as he did want to claim me. And right now, Aria was howling like the moon was three times it's size tonight.
"Don't kill me with your reckless driving, Zavier," I teased, putting my suitcase in the back then sliding into the passenger seat. "Last time, I rode with you, I nearby had a heart attack." He smirked and changed gears, a dangerous look in his eyes. I gulped as he hit the gas with full of force, sending us flying through the forest. The speedometer spun quickly to over one hundred and I rolled my eyes, then rolled up my window, nearly chocking on the wind coming inside the car.
"Now, when we get there go ahead, socialize, just not with any males that aren't your family members, Mate. The mage bond we have is strong and I will surely kill that man," he growls protectively. I gasp.
"You wouldn't," I shoot back.
"I wouldn't be able to stop myself," he replies simply, shrugging before the long ride conversation stopped abruptly, only the sound of the tires against the road filling the car and the occasional bumping sound from the two suitcases in the back.
I squeal awkwardly when I notice the border that I first patrolled on as a smaller girl. I make Zavier stop the car and I throw the car door open, running out and smelling the scents that I had grown familiar with growing up. I let my outfit blow in the faint breeze as I climbed up my favorite hill, and gazed upon the pack house and the alpha house, the house where I once lived right next to it. I jump and run down the slope, heading towards the forest that surrounded the pack main ground. Zavier followed behind amused with my excitement. Suddenly growls erupted from the undergrowth and out jumped two figures: a brown wolf and darker brown wolf with black fur lining some of it's back. My dad and Jonas. I smile and they shift behind the bushes, coming back out fully clothed. I hug them and Zavier watches, his eyes shifting protectively from my arms wrapped around my brother and dad then the two males.
"I thought I would never see you again, honey." dad whispered, tears brimming his eyes. "When Jonas said that Alpha Laven had picked you up as his mate, the whole pack freaked out."
Jonas removed himself from the hug and looked to Zavier. "If I find out that you abused or hurt Nylarizza in any way, you're dead." he growled Zavier looked offended.
I pull away from dad and shove Jonas so he fellas on his butt. "Don't say that, clumsy foot." Clumsy foot was what we called Jonas only because the rest of his body was stable-except for his one foot that just wouldn't keep him balanced. Dad chuckled and nodded at Zavier before guiding us to the guest house. I let Zavier in, but stay out of the house. "Where's Eli?"
Jonas shrugged and pointed down the road.
I raced down the dirt path and smiled, remembering the roads like I was here just yesterday. I felt like such a long time, for four days being gone. I slid slightly as I turned down the two-hundred houses, moving as fast as I could past pups and older men and women who didn't work anymore.
Eli actually answered the door, but I suddenly remember my scent wasn't the same. She growled slightly through the door and James came beside her I assumed, hearing his footsteps. "Alpha Laven, we were told you were arriving today," Eli spoke, opening the door blindly.
"One thing wrong," I muttered, looking at her. Tears brimmed her eyes, and tears brimmed mine as well. James shrugged and left to go back into the house, disappearing around a corner. "It's Luna Laven, actually." She embraced me tightly.
"Told you, you would get a mate. Sorry it had to be Alpha Laven though," she muttered.
"No, he's nice! He's wonderful! Not as bad as his image portrays." I defend, shaking my hands. "He's changed for the better." I repeat from the night before. Eli looked skeptical. She noticed the mark and gasped.
"Did he force himself on you?" she whispered, looking around for anyone near.
I chuckle. "Nope."
"Then let's go training like we used to! Have you any skills?" she yelled like a English knight from a medieval movie. I smirked.
"Don't I always?" I snapped playfully, walking with her down the road to the training gym.
