29*** The First Floor (Prep) [Finally]

"Okay, we have everything in place, right?" I asked, my hands a bit fidgety.

"Yes Nylon, we have everything." Angus replied in a bored voice.

"And does everything fit comfortably?" I asked again, this time shifting from foot to foot.

At this she pulled an abomination of a dagger out of her belt and twirled it around her fingers for a bit before she slipped it back into place. "Yes, everything fits comfortably." She replies in a tired voice this time.

"Umm, maybe we should do one last check..."

"Aw, COME ON BRAT!!! What are you waiting for????!!!!! We've been ready to go for hours now!!!" She shouted at me impatiently, though she did have a point.

Ever since we laughed all our problems of, we felt better (or at least I felt better), but we almost died because of it!!! After we managed to stop ourselves from laughing to death in time, I set my Improvisation Mastery to work. Three sets of armour, five shields, at least 30 different types of daggers, a s**... crap ton of pseudo health, stamina, and essence restore potions, and around 8 gear checks later, we're still here going through everything...

What?! I can't help it okay!!! Improvisation Mastery is just a survival skill at best. It only allows me to improvise with the material I have lying around, so while its like a crafting skill, its not like the things I make are anything like what real craftsmen can make! In fact, the level and quality would be significantly worse! And this is the first time I've made so many items! My Improvisation mastery went up by 3 levels by the time I was done, and I used it as essence in my brain for max quality, so who knows where the quality dropped due to.... I dunno, not enough essence or something?!! I know I'm being irrational, but I'm nervous alright!!!

"Nope, we're NOT doing this again!!!! Come on! Lets.. Get.. Going!!!!" She strained out as she grabbed my tunic collar and tried to drag me to the entrance, but my feet dug into the ground and became unmoving!

"Not yet! Please, just one more check!" I begged her as my feet started making ruts in the ground as she dragged me as hard as she could. Her efforts were effectively futile however, as my high defence stats makes moving me from a rooted position very difficult. She probably blew through her Stamina three times before she gave into my griping!

"Alright, you win this one you damned little s**t. But pull this again and I'm smashing that bloody splinter and leaving you to the bugs!!!" She threatened me. I winced at her foul mouth, but I did have to stop myself from giggling when she called the sword "bloody". I don't even think she realizes the pun she made, and I'm not goin to be the one to point it out. ()

"Are you done now you flipping worry wart??!!" Angus Called to me after I went through the list for the 100th time! I don't know why I'm so nervous, must be the that I'm actually terrified of going in there....

Is what I would love to say, but right now, I'm so excited, I just want to jump right in without a single care for what happens!!! Maybe some side of my is holding me back to make sure I don't die because of it. But enough of this bulllshhhh.... aving cream!!! I wonder how long I have to wait for this effect to leave. Its inconvenient at best!

"Alright! Lets go!!!!" I yelled out. Taking the Rapier out of the ground and swinging it over my shoulder, I went over the plan one more time.

We take this weapon with us and scare of any low level mobs. High leveled mobs can resist the repulsion, so once we reach the levels that can push through to us, we'll drop the stake at the level entrance to ward of any ones that want to double back. That way, we can use guerilla tactics until we reach the boss. The dungeon is shabby looking at best so it is safe to assume that it's a small one, thus there's only one floor boss. This is a major assumption I'm making and even with such an assumption, death is still eminent. And we need all the stuff we have plus more in any other situation!

*CRASH!!!* Angus walked to the gate and within a flash, sliced everything down!!!! Dang, her speed must be really high!!!

"After you." She said to me while bowing low and gesturing to the door. I blushed a little in anger at her implication, but I only looked up and ignored her giggling as he walked in behind me.

Then things went very, very wrong...!
