Faster, Better and Stronger

Indra unknowingly continued to absorb the energy from the neutron star, strengthening his physiology, enhancing his cells and healing his life force completely.

After five hundred years passed, he slowly opened his eyes and looked around.

Due to the blinding light from the sun, he immediately shut his eyes and remained still.

Confusion was very evident in his face, unaware of where he was.

The most recent memory he had before hibernating, was when he was sucked into a mysterious portal.

He neither had the strength to avoid nor resist it, and let the portal suck him in.

After recollecting his thoughts, he sat crossed legged and expanded his senses outward.

But to his astonishment, he was supposedly trapped within a star!

'I don't know how long I have been trapped here, but I surprisingly feel stronger.'

Starting from his bones to his muscles, every part of his body took a qualitative leap.

However, this was not the greatest change within him.

A small golden core, a size of an egg was found in the middle of his chest.

These new turn of events surprised Indra, as this golden core was completely fused within, like he was a mini star.

The core from within was producing it's own energy and maintaining a delicate balance in his body.

This core was not only producing and sustaining energy, but was also the reason he became stronger than he already was.

While his eyes remained closed, Indra slowly stood up and gathered some energy at his legs and 'bam', he took off with unprecedented speeds.

With his strength, his senses easily covered the entire star.

Within a few seconds, he exited the star and reached the outer atmosphere.

Due to the similarities of his core and the neutrons star's core, he was able to exit the star unhindered by it's gravitational pull.

His speed in cosmic realm five hundred years ago, was incomparable to his newly attained speed, which could travel near light speed.

'This is..... amazing! With this strength, I can finally beat that bastard Daemon and crush him. I can do this for sure.'

Indra clenched his fists with determination and looked around only to view the countless number of stars, gas giants and many other unknown mysteries to him.

Coming from a planet where space was never at hand's reach, unattainable, he never thought he would live to this day, to view this appalling sight.

Recovering from his thoughts, Indra's face suddenly turned pale. Finally realizing the terrible circumstances he was in.

'How do I even get back to earth?! Damn it all! Flying randomly would only make things worse'.

Though he knew was stronger, he dare not underestimate the dangers present in space, or other entities stronger than him.

Being cautious and planning things ahead was Indra's style of doing things.

Now that circumstances were were different, he decided to slowly fly towards any planet which inhabited life, and try to seek help from them.

He needed to get back to earth as soon as possible.

This time he decided to trust on his instincts and slowly started to fly towards an unknown direction, and hoped to encounter someone.

--

A few quadrillion miles away from Indra's location, on an unknown moon, a man could be seen holding two daggers in his hands, standing firmly and waiting for his destiny.

His aura exuded authority and those he had fought before, were all crushed like an elephant stomping an ant.

His daggers were no ordinary daggers either.

They were red in color and contained a ruby gem embedded to it's handle and it's power, was by no means ordinary.

This man was waiting patiently like a predator slowly stalking it's prey, ready to pounce at it.

He was waiting for someone who could fight him and defeat him.

He remembered the location his priest gave him, back when he was on his planet.

"Know this well, this person will be the strongest you have ever faced. Though I cannot stop you and your stubborn nature, I will tell you one thing. Should you ever face him, it will be the end of you. That man has power unlike anything I have seen before."

His hands trembled with excitement and nervousness.

What was his foe going to be like and what sort of strength would he display?

Did fate finally comply and provide him with an opportunity to lose against someone? He turned extremely ecstatic.

Though he was elated, he did not keep his hopes up. Not entirely.

All the people he fought in the past, who thought they had a chance against him, lost miserably.

If this person was the same then just like the others, his foe would be nothing but cannon fodder. As he was lost in thoughts, all of a sudden a golden light appeared in his view, and headed towards him.

Recovering from his thoughts, he looked up and flew towards the light, hovering in front of it.

'So this is the man who is supposed to defeat me. Very interesting.'

The unknown man halted a few meters away from the light and looked right at him.

Though the other person wrapped in golden light had hid his aura as much as possible, it could not escape the unknown man's senses.

'Behemoth' was the only word that came to his mind. It was time to show his true prowess against his foe.

"Hello my foe, I am Alexander Zenith. Would you kindly you tell me your name?"

He replied, pointing one of his daggers to the person opposite of him.

"My name is...Indra."
