All for One (Part 1)

Shoto stared at her captors. She was tied down to a wooden chair inside of a shitty bar. She tried to free herself from the rope tying her hands together, but the villains had put a stop to that. Shigaraki sat across from her, talking very casually. "Please relax, Ms. Todoroki. You're a guest here." Shoto glared. "I'm not sure if I enjoy the preferential treatment." Shigaraki leaned back in his seat. "You're right. Toga, please release her." The villains looked to their leader. Spinner, the gecko villain, voiced everyone's concern. "Boss, are you sure that's a good idea?" Their leader nodded. "We are trying to recruit her, after all." Shoto perked up. Toga cut the rope off. The red/white haired girl rubbed her wrists as she looked at Shigaraki. "You attack me and my friends at the USJ, you attack a city with Nomus, and you kidnap me in the forest after you and your friends attack my closest friends. What makes you think I would join you?" Shigaraki sat up. "Friends? Oh please, you don't have any friends at that school." Shoto looked confused, so the villain elaborated. "In the Sports Festival a few months ago, you didn't hesitate to destroy your friends. I was a personal fan on how you blasted Jason's face off." Shoto tensed up. She had only done that because he had provoked her. But now she was targeted because of her recklessness. "...So you think that little accident makes me villain material?" "You don't care who you hurt as long as you win. We need that mindset and your raw power for the League of Villains." Shoto looked around. She was surrounded by villains. She thought of an escape plan. If she froze everything, then the fire villain, Dabi, might just melt the ice and free the others. If she tried to blast him with fire, the others would jump her. She tried to think of what Jason would do. He might've found a way to break out. Chris would've been able to muscle his way out of this. Even Momo could've used her brain to think her way out of this. Shoto wasn't in any position to do anything. All she could do was bide her time and wait for an opening.

The hospital is a very unique place. So much celebration and so much tragedy all under one roof. However, on this day, there was nothing but despair. Out of 40 students, 11 were injured, one was fatally wounded, and one was missing. The students' families had all been notified. Endeavor was not thrilled hearing the news of his daughter's kidnapping. Her family was in a panic. Aizawa, who saw her kidnapping as his personal failure, insisted he be the one to break the news to the family and to the media. However, Chris knew that Jason placed the blame squarely on himself. Chris's hospital room had four people in it, but nobody was making a sound. Kirishima and Mina looked over at Chris. The young man was in the hospital bed, wearing bandages around most of his body with his shattered arm in a sling. There was too much damage even for Recovery Girl to repair in one day. The plan was for her to return the next day and finish healing Chris. Until then, he was prescribed pain killers and bed rest. Chris was staring directly at his best friend. Jason was sitting in the chair next to Chris's bed, staring down at the floor with his elbows on his knees. He had only stopped crying a few minutes ago. Now his eyes were red, his cheeks stained by the tears. Chris had never seen Jason like this. He was always smiling. He was always the optimist. But now Chris had to be the strong one. The issue was that he had no idea how to comfort his best friend. Luckily, Mina tried to. "Hey… Jason… I heard you fought a couple of villains in the forest…" Jason didn't acknowledge her. Kirishima sighed. "Dude, there was nothing you could've done." Those words only hurt Jason more. Chris glanced at Kirishima and shook his head. The group gave up on cheering up Jason. The only thing that could heal his wounds was time.

Chris overheard All Might and a police officer talking to Momo a few rooms down. "Are you sure this will work, Momo?" Momo answered the Number One Hero. "The tracking chip I put on the Nomu is still active. This device was created to match the tracker. I promise that this will lead you to the Nomu." The hero and cop thanked her and left. Kirishima looked up at Chris. "What'd you hear?" "Momo managed to get a tracking chip onto the Nomu." Jason perked up. Chris recognized that look: a sign of hope. Jason seemed to think a little bit before standing up. "I'm going to sleep, guys." Mina stood up. "Well, I'm going to go check up on Momo." Kirishima waved to the two as they left. He was going to stay with Chris to keep him company. "You ok, Chris?" "Jason never sleeps in the morning." "Well, we had a long night. None of us slept last night after the attack and it's already morning." "Maybe. But Jason only sleeps this early when he plans on staying up all night." Kirishima thought for a bit. "...You think he's up to something?" Chris nodded. The two fell asleep, setting their phone alarms for a few hours.

Later, as the sun was setting, Chris snuck out of his room with a little help from Kirishima. Jason was making his way to Momo's room. He knocked and entered. The guys followed him in. Momo looked over. Mina, who was in the chair next to Momo's bed, looked like she had just woken up. Momo forced a smile. "Can I help you, Jason?" He nodded. "Rumor has it that you know where the League's hideout is." Everyone tensed up before slowly looking at their friend. "...I can make a device that can track the Nomu I tagged, yes…" "I would like to get one of those machines." Momo shook her head. Jason looked hurt. "Please, Momo." "No. I know you, Jason. You want to go after Shoto." "Momo, if there's even a chance I can save her, I have to take it." Chris put his one good arm on Jason's shoulder. "Dude, the pros got it covered. It's more important for us to be here when they get back." Jason looked back at him. "We have no idea of knowing when that will be. Not to mention that they might be too worried about her to go in guns blazing." Momo remained resilient. "I will not let you put your life in danger." Kirishima seemed to think for a little bit before smiling at Momo. "Well, what if I go with him?" Mina was suddenly wide awake. "What?!" She covered her mouth, realizing she had just yelled. Then she whispered. "Are you insane?" Kirishima shrugged. "Maybe a little." Mina stood up. "Well, I'm going too." Jason shook his head. "I know the streets like the back of my hand. I can move faster alone." he looked back at Momo. "...Please, Momo…" The young woman finally gave in. She created a small electronic device from her arm and handed it off to Jason. "There. Please be careful." "Thanks." Jason turned around and saw Chris blocking the doorway. "Move, Chris." "I'd like to see you make me." Jason was now face to face with his best friend. "You know that is easily within my power. Even if you had both arms." Kirishima hardened his arms, ready to step in if need be. Chris glared down at Jason. "I am not letting you do this alone." Jason looked around the room. It was clear that they were all going, whether he wanted them to or not. Jason sighed. "Meet outside in an hour."

Kirishima and Mina were waiting outside, ready to go. They saw Jason exit the hospital wearing a black hoodie. He walked up to them. Kirishima forced a smile. "Glad you actually waited for us." "Well, strength in numbers I suppose. Besides, I'd like you and Chris on deck in case things turn violent." Mina giggled. "And me?" It was Jason's turn to force a smile. "You'll make a wonderful distraction." "Excuse me?" Kirishima snickered. Chris snuck out of the hospital wearing a grey jacket. He had ditched the sling even though his right arm was still broken. Jason nodded to him. "Be careful, alright?" Chris nodded, shoving his broken arm into his jacket pocket. The group was just about to leave when they heard the hospital doors open again. Momo came out. Chris smiled at her. "You came." Momo forced a smile. "What kind of friend would I be if I stayed behind?" Kirishima shrugged. "The smart kind, probably." The group shared a moment of laughter before Jason took out the tracking device. The five heroes in training began following the signal in search for their friend.

It was a little after midnight when the group found the building housing the signal. Mina nodded to Jason. He took a knee and Mina stood up on his shoulders, using the wall for support. She peered through the window, whispering her findings. "It's too dark. I can't see shit." Momo, being the quick thinker she was, created some basic night vision goggles. She passed them up to Mina. Chris and Kirishima were keeping watch for any guards or police, as this could be a bad situation to be caught in. Mina peered through the goggles. She saw some test tubes and papers neatly stacked up on desks. She squinted, trying to get a good view deeper into the room. Jason looked up, whispering. "What do you see?" "Give me a second." Mina saw several tubes lining the back of the room. Then her heart stopped. There were Nomus inside the tubes. Dozens of them. Mina began to fall. Jason managed to catch her. "Mina? What did you see?" She couldn't speak. She was too horrified. Kirishima knelt down next to her, gingerly taking her hand. "...Hey… Mina…" She looked into her best friend's eyes and slowly calmed down. "...Nomus… dozens of them… in tanks…" Momo looked horrified. "Metal tanks?" Mina shook her head. "No. Clear tanks. Like tubes." Jason took a deep breath. "Alright, here's the plan. We'll need to open up one of these windows. Then Kirishima will-" They heard movement in front of the two story building. Chris peeked around the corner and saw several police officers and pro heroes standing here. There were even some Top 10 heroes there. Gang Orca, the Number 10 Hero, and Best Jeanist, the Number Three Hero, were leading the operation. Best Jeanist nodded to another pro hero, Mt. Lady. She became gigantic, smiling. "Alright! Let's smash these Nomus to kingdom come!" The five students ducked down as Mt. Lady brought her arms down, destroying the building with a single strike.

The bar slightly shook, as if there had been an earthquake several hundred miles away. Dabi stood up. "I hate this state. Too many damn earthquakes." Mr. Compress put his top hat back on. "That seemed too short for an earthquake." There was a knock on the door. "Excuse me? Pizza delivery for a Mr. John?" Shoto and the villains just stared at the door. Magne raised an eyebrow. "What?" The wall exploded, sending debris everywhere. A tree based hero named Kamui Woods rushed in and wrapped up Kurogiri. He used his spare arm to create multiple branches, capturing most of the Villains. Dabi dodged the branches, but Gran Torino rushed in and slammed himself into the fire-shooting villain. Dabi fell against the wall, no longer attempting to put up a fight. All Might stood in the hole in the wall with several police officers and pro heroes. Endeavor himself was waiting with a small army of police officers just in front of the building. All Might smiled down at the leader of the League of Villains. "You do not need to worry, for I am here!" Kurogiri struggled to break free, but couldn't. "Shigaraki! I'm trapped! I can't use my quirk!" The young villain laughed. "It's no matter." He shouted up into the sky. "Master! Send in the Nomus! All of them!" Nothing happened. Shigaraki looked around. A police sergeant shouted to the group from his squad car. "All Might! We just got word from Best Jeanist's team! The Nomus are confirmed to be destroyed!" Shigaraki looked defeated, no longer able to hold his head up. All Might looked down at him. "Your Nomu Factory is gone. Your League of Villains has been captured. Shoto Todoroki is safe. You've lost, Shigaraki."

Chris raised his hand to silence his friends as he heard someone walking through the debris of the Nomu Factory. The group peeked around the corner. A very tall man wearing a very nice black suit and tie stepped out of the rubble. Best Jeanist, using his quirk, controlled his linen to become a potential weapon. "Stop right there! You're in a crime scene!" The man stopped, his head still in the shadows. "Oh? Is my home a crime scene now? I never received this news." The other pro heroes prepared themselves as Best Jeanist continued giving force commands. "Put your hands in the air now!" The man chuckled a little bit as he raised his hand towards them. "Please, let's just get to know each other." In less than a second, several cops were dead, every pro hero there was down or dying, and the entire city block had been turned into a crater.
