All for One (Part 2)

Nobody knew what was going on. Nomus began appearing everywhere around the entry team. All Might looked around, watching police officers get thrown against the wall. Gran Torino and several other pro heroes jumped into action. All Might turned around, shouting to the Number Two Hero. "Endeavor, we need-" He cut his sentence short. A hundred Nomus were suddenly teleporting outside as well. Police fired their weapons in vain, watching the bullets harmlessly bounce against the bioengineered soldiers. Endeavor was melting the Nomus with ease, but there were still too many. The League of Villains began melting into silver slime. Kamui Woods couldn't keep a grip on them as the League of Villains suddenly vanished into thin air. The slime began forming around Shoto. She panicked as she began vanishing as well. All Might leaped forward, trying to grab her. He was too late. Shoto was gone again.

Chris was completely silent. He had been scared before. He had fought a giant Nomu, Stain, and All Might for crying out loud. However, none of that compared to what he was feeling right now. He felt like he had already died. The man dusted off his suit, ignoring the dead and dying people around him. Chris looked to his right. Kirishima, Mina, and Momo were just as terrified if not more so than he was. Chris looked over at Jason. At first glance, he didn't seem scared at all. However, Chris knew his friend and what to look for. Jason's hands were balled up into fists so tight that the knuckles were turning white. Jason was just as scared as they were: just a whole lot better at hiding it. Chris peeked around the corner to see the League of Villains and Shoto appear out of nowhere. Shigaraki put his mask back on before kneeling before the tall man. "Master… Thank you for saving us…" The man put a comforting hand on Shigaraki's shoulder. He spoke with a distorted voice, like speaking through a filter. "Of course, Shigaraki. I am here for you. You failed today, but you will learn and grow from this. Just remember to never give up on your ideals." Chris could see that the man was wearing a jet black mask over his face. However, there was nothing for the man to see out of. The man stood up. "Take your League and get out of here, Shigaraki. I'm afraid I have some work to do." He looked up into the sky. "I have an old friend to catch up with. I also have a funny feeling he isn't too happy to see me."

All Might came crashing down at full force, trying to kill the man. The man simply raised his hand, easily catching All Might's punch. The shockwave sent the League and Shoto flying. All Might jumped away. "Give up now, All for One!" The man, now known as All for One, raised both hands up as if asking for a hug. He addressed the Number One Hero by his real name. "Toshinori! You look good after all these years!" He dropped his arms down to his side. "However, I know the truth. The League's hideout was only a few minutes away. Given that I sent the Nomus there 30 seconds ago… It means you've gotten a whole lot slower than the last time we met…" "I'm not in the mood for your games, All for One! I'm bringing you down once and for all!"

Kirishima whispered to his friends. "...Did he say All Might is getting weaker…?" Mina whispered to Chris. "You're a hero and villain expert. You ever hear about this 'All for One' guy?" Chris shook his head. Jason looked over at his best friend. "All Might said he got into a really bad fight a few years ago. You think this is the guy?" Chris paled. This was the guy that injured All Might to the point of near retirement. The group watched in horror as All Might began his battle with the villain once more. The League got back up and started going after Shoto. Now that she was in the open, Shoto could properly fight back. She raised an ice wall to defend herself from Dabi and then she immediately shot fire at Mr. Compress. Toga laughed as she swung her knife repeatedly at Shoto. She backpedaled. She wasn't as good as Jason was when it came to fighting armed opponents. She froze Toga's feet to the ground and then jumped away from Spinner's sword. Jason looked over at his friends. "I have a plan, but I need your help. And yes, there is a good chance we can go to jail for this." His friends all nodded, not caring about the repercussions of what was about to happen.

Mr. Compress got back up and put his hand out. "Time to put you away for a little while, young lady." He was suddenly on the ground, his mask broken. Everyone looked over. Jason had kicked him unconscious. He had been thrown at the villain. Magne raised his giant magnet block up. "Not cool, man! I'm gonna-" Chris leaped out and punched him across the battlefield. Dabi raised his hands, igniting his flames. "You two again?" Kirishima tackled Dabi, hardening his body. The flames were useless now. Toga sprinted after Shoto in a last ditch effort to stop the escape. Mina slid in using her acid and tripped up the sociopath. Momo grabbed Shoto's arm. "Let's go!" Shigaraki ran forward. "No!" Jason tackled the villain and then quickly rolled away to avoid the villain's hand. Shoto and Momo ran. Kirishima and Mina ran next. Chris nodded to Jason. It was their turn to leave. Jason turned and ran. With Magne and Mr. Compress knocked out, escape was much easier. Dabi raised his hand to shoot fire at them, but Chris was much faster on the draw. He fired off a 10% flick. The shockwave drove into Dabi's gut, knocking the wind out of him. Chris smirked. "You all did your best, but you just aren't ready to be villains yet." Jason ran past his friend. "No time for being petty! Book it!" The two friends ran. Shoto was safe now. Mission accomplished.

The group stopped almost a mile away from the fighting. Shoto smiled at her friends, her eyes tearing up. "...I'm so happy to see all of you…" Mina hugged her. "Don't ever scare me like that again!" Kirishima looked over at Chris. "We need to get back to the school." Chris nodded. "You all go. I'm going back." Momo grabbed Chris's arm. "I know I bent the knee to Jason, but I am not letting you anywhere near that fight." The others all nodded. Chris sighed. "Fine. We'll compromise." He pointed up to a tall building. "We can get a good view of the fight from up there." Everyone agreed and went up to the roof. Everyone could get an idea of what the fight was looking like. Especially after Momo made binoculars for her friends. All Might was dodging several black energy blades that seemed to be coming out of All for One's arms. The battle wasn't going good for the hero, and Chris could hear every single word. "This is bad. Do you think All Might can win, Jason?" No answer. Jason had never gone to the roof with them.

All Might stopped moving as All for One ceased his attacks. The villain chuckled. "It's over, Toshinori. You're a weak old man, now. It's only a matter of time before you run out of power. Honestly, I expected more from you." All Might charged forward. All for One raised his hand and let out a massive shockwave aimed squarely at All Might. The hero hadn't tried to block. All Might fell to the ground. He had reached his limit. All for One looked over at Shigaraki. "It's time for you to go now, Shigaraki." "What?! Master, I won't leave you!" All for One raised a hand to silence his student. "I have taught you everything I know. Now it is time for you to spread your wings. Take your League. Kurogiri will still be there to help you." Shigaraki stared down at the ground. "...Understood, master…" All for One nodded. "You're destined for greatness, Shigaraki. Now go save this wretched world." Shigaraki turned away from his master. "We're leaving, Kurogiri." The League of Villains picked up Magne and Mr. Compress and they all fled through Kurogiri's portal. Now it was only All for One and a weakened All Might.

All for One looked down at All Might. "Remember when we first met, Toshinori?" All Might tensed up. The villain continued. "Your late master, Shimura, gave up everything for you. Then again, she never put up the same kind of fight you did." All Might glared up at him. "...Shut up…" All for One shook his head in disbelief. "She really died in a pathetic way. She was never a challenge." He looked up. "Shimura was entertaining to kill." All Might rose up. "I said shut-" Another shockwave blasted All Might. All for One laughed. "Your power is gone, All Might. Show the world your true form. Show the world the failure of a hero you really are." All Might was out of power. He was no longer in his buff form: only the skeleton of a man.

Kirishima said what was on everyone's minds. "...Is that All Might…?" Momo shook her head. "...Impossible… That's not All Might…" "It is." Everyone looked at Chris. He was tearing up. "All Might has been injured for years now. He asked me and Jason to keep it a secret." Chris looked up at the news helicopter observing the fight. "...But the entire world knows now…"

All Might rose to his feet, powering up to the max, bringing together everything he had left. However, there was only enough power to make his right arm buff. All for One sighed. "I now see that One for All no longer dwells within you. What you're fighting with is only the embers of what lingers within you after passing it on." All for One levitated himself, floating up and off of the ground. "That young man, Chris Harper. He's the one who you passed One for All to. I'll be paying him a visit as soon as I'm done with you." All Might reared his arm back. "You will never get that far." All for One chuckled. "But you've already lost, All Might. These shockwaves were never designed to kill you. They successfully wore you down, depleting your strength and stamina. Now I will kill you with the strongest collection of quirks stored within my body: every single quirk I have stolen that I thought would give me the best chance at defeating you." His right arm began to grow, ripping through his suit's sleeves. "Spring like Limbs, Kinetic Booster times four, Strength Enhancer times three, Multiplier, Hypertrophy, Rivets, Air Walk, and Spear like Bones." All for One's arm was now larger than he was. His bones were now giant metal spears tearing his skin apart. His arm glowed bright red from all of the multiplier quirks stored within. All Might couldn't hide his fear. Then he smiled brightly. "Bring it on, All for One!" All for One sighed. "Always so brave, Toshinori."

All for One dive bombed All Might. The Number One Hero punched back. Their fists collided, creating a massive shockwave. All for One was easily pushing the hero back. "Hit Recoil!" All Might's arm began to shatter as another one of the villain's quirks took effect. All Might planted his feet, slowing down the villain. All for One smirked underneath his mask. "I see… the weak embers inside you are resisting… trying to rekindle some of your former strength. A desperate battle against the inevitable: one last stand in a vain attempt to fulfill your duty." All for One put more power into the punch. "But it's not enough!" All Might looked up at the villain. "...I'll beat you… not because it's my duty… but because I'll do as my master did for me… Until I've finished training Chris… until he's ready to defeat you…" All for One talked casually, as if he had already won. "It's embarrassing how much you choose to resist the inevitable. Perhaps I was wrong about you." All Might suddenly ducked to the side, diverting all of his power from his right arm to his left. "...Until then… I refuse... to die...!" The left hook slammed into All for One's face, shattering the mask and destroying what was left of some nearby shattered buildings. All for One's face was now revealed to the world. He hardly had a face anymore: just burnt together skin and a mouth. Despite that, he still 'looked' down at All Might. "A clever trick. That's so unlike you, Toshinori." All for One raised his left arm, preparing a massive shockwave. "Still weak though!" All Might's arm shrunk as the power disappeared. All for One stopped. The Number One hero raised his shattered right arm as the power returned. "That's because… I didn't put my back into it that time…!" His arm grew once more. He had the perfect shot at All for One. All Might spoke quietly: so quietly that only the villain and Chris could hear him. "...goodbye… All for One…" His fist slammed into All for One's head. "United… States of…" All Might crushed All for One's head into the ground. "...Smash!" The resulting shockwave broke the ground apart, sending the helicopter up above spiraling out of control. Chris and his friends had to duck down and hang on for dear life to avoid being blown away. When the shockwave and dust subsided, All Might stared down at the broken villain. He then raised his fist into the sky. His final battle was over.

That was what he thought until the rubble started moving. All Might looked on in horror as All for One sat back up. The villain struggled to his feet. "...That… really… hurt…" All for One was completely off balance, clearly shaken by All Might's strongest attack. However, the hero lacked the power to take him out for good. All Might sighed. "...So this is it…" All for One's arm decompressed back to normal size as he deactivated the quirks. The damage slowly healed as one of his many healing quirks kicked in. However, the process was slow. All Might's punch had overtaxed All for One's body. The villain started preparing a shockwave. "...I wish it wasn't over so soon, Toshinori… This is almost disappointing… but anyways… farewell." Chris and All Might both looked on in horror as Jason sprinted out and punched All for One in the face, causing the villain to fall to a knee. All for One shot a black energy blade at him. Jason landed on his hands and performed a handspring to dodge the attack. Then he moved right into a roll to dodge the attack as it arched upwards. Jason was quick to his feet and got into his signature combat stance, putting himself in between All for One and All Might. The villain, still completely dazed by the United States of Smash, looked over at the young hero. "...This does not involve you… Leave with your life while you can, Jason…" Jason smirked. "It's Endgame: because when all else fails, I won't." All for One chuckled, trying to stand up straight but definitely too dizzy to accomplish that. "...Fitting last words…" Jason gave a big smile. "Do your worst, All for One. I don't plan on dying today." Chris heard his friend even from this distance. It was expected. However, he knew his best friend extremely well.

In other words, he knew when his friend was lying.
