Both Mina and Momo stood in front of Ryukyu's desk. It had been a three hour trip from Santa Cruz to Sacramento. As soon as they arrived at the agency, they were instructed to change into their hero uniforms and report to Ryukyu's office. Both ladies were nervous, but knew that this had been coming. Ryukyu finished rereading the report Aizawa had written. The very angry hero tried her best to keep her cool. "...Momo, I will congratulate you on one thing: your detective skills are exemplary." The hero glared up at both girls. "However, your achievement is completely overshadowed by your complete lack of professionalism!" Momo and Mina remained silent. The hero stood up from her seat, glaring at Momo. "I approved your temporary reassignment to the Fatgum Agency because I sympathized with you! I wanted you two to help save your friend! But then you went too far! You used paperwork to stay in Santa Cruz after your friend was saved! You lied to my employees and sidekicks about why you couldn't return here! Worst of all, you made our agency guilty of supporting vigilantism!" Ryukyu turned to Mina. "You knew about all of this! You volunteered to stay in Santa Cruz! That means you're a part of the problem!"
Neither girl spoke. They knew nothing they could say would fix this. They knew the risks of their choices ever since they started out on their little joyride. Ryukyu sighed and sat down in her seat. "If it were up to me, your Probationary Hero Licenses would be revoked and I wouldn't rest until you both were expelled from UA. You're lucky that he talked me out of it. Pack up your shit and get the hell out of my agency. You two belong to him now." Mina blinked a few times. "He? Him?" Momo cleared her throat. "Ma'am, who would you be referring to?" Ryukyu glared up at the girls. "Fatgum. You two have been permanently reassigned to the Fatgum Agency. Now get out of my office."
Jason ducked, easily avoiding Chris's charge forward. He stood up and grabbed Chris's ankle, spinning around and throwing him into Kirishima. The two went flying. Jason then turned and fired off a powerful shockwave, shattering Shoto's ice attack. "I've been training with you guys for a year and a half now! You can't use the same old tricks to beat me! Get creative!" Chris and Kirishima looked at each other and nodded. Chris grabbed Kirishima by the ankle and threw him at Jason with 40% of One for All. Kirishima hardened his arms and held them out in front of him. Jason sidestepped the attack and slammed his fist into Kirishima's side. The redhead impacted against the wall, cratering it. Jason just looked at Chris. "Seriously?" Jason's feet became covered in ice. The ice began to spread up his legs. Jason fired off another shockwave at Shoto. She rolled to the side to dodge it, but Jason hadn't planned on hitting her in the first place. Jason just needed her to stop creating more ice. He used his other arm to fire a shockwave at his own feet, destroying the ice. "Nice attempt. But you've tried that at least once already and it didn't work then." Jason turned to Kirishima, who had gotten up by now. The redhead stopped in his tracks. Jason just shook his head, disappointed. "You three are trying to kill me, right? Stop with the cheap tricks and fake teamwork, and start hitting me harder!"
Aizawa watched the security monitor closely. He had always known that Jason had an edge over all of his other classmates in combat, but now he was learning just how big that gap really was. Jason was using the knowledge of his friends' skills, his own experience, and his mastery of his quirk to completely overpower Chris, Shoto, and Kirishima. This wasn't good. At this rate, there's no way any of them could defeat the other Jason. All Might pulled up a seat next to Aizawa. "How is the training going?" Aizawa scoffed. "Training? This is just a beatdown." All Might watched the battle for a minute. "I don't understand. Chris and Jason were almost evenly matched in the Sports Festival. How is he beating all three of them at once?" Aizawa crossed his arms as he leaned back in his seat. "It was almost half a year in between their night time battle and the most recent Sports Festival. Chris had gotten a lot stronger and developed his new 'Sword Style' of combat. Jason had figured out how to increase the power of his quirk and how to use less emotion in the process, on top of figuring out how to use 'Full Cowling' with Inner Strength. The two spent most of their last fight figuring each other out. Since the Sports Festival, they have been battling the League of Villains. They haven't had any time to come up with new techniques. Now Jason's superior reflexes and knowledge are giving him an advantage. Jason has always been better at letting his reflexes take over and thinking less overall." All Might narrowed his eyes. "...that's not the only problem." Aizawa looked at All Might as he spoke. "Those three have been fighting together for a long time now, but never in a team setting. They are too busy trying to figure out how to work with each other, which takes their focus away from their opponent. Not to mention that Chris can't go all out, or he runs the risk of harming his team." Aizawa smirked and looked back at the camera. "Good eye, Toshinori. You'll make a great teacher." All Might looked over at him. "What?" "Nezu thinks you're ready to become an official teacher, and now I agree with him. You'll teach your first class independently next year."
Jason grabbed Shoto and slammed her into the ground. She looked up at him. "Hey! Stop for a-" Jason ignored her as he threw her into Chris, who had been running right at him. Chris tripped over her and tumbled to a stop. Without looking, Jason reached out to his left and caught Kirishima's fist, throwing him onto Chris. None of them got back up. "I think we're done for now." Jason put his hands in his pockets as he walked away. "You all died. See you at lunch."
Chris coughed and got up, Kirishima sliding off of his back. The redhead remained lying down. "...can we… can we take five and try again…?" Shoto slowly rose to her feet, using her right hand to ice a bruise on her neck. "...he's already gone…" Kirishima nodded. "...thank god…" Chris looked down at his hand. It was shaking. He clenched his fist, trying to bring his fear under control. Kirishima sat up. "...holy shit…" Chris slowly nodded before looking up at his two friends. "...we have a long way to go before we're ready for the real deal…"
