One for All (Part 2)

Jason took a step back. "What?! No! You have to be joking!" Nezu had a very serious expression on his face. "I'm sorry, Endgame, but we aren't joking." Aizawa sighed sadly. "There's a traitor here at UA, and we have no idea who it is. It's how they got information about the USJ attack in 2018, and how they knew where to find us during the training session at Cowell National Park. It's one of us teachers, but we don't have any leads or any suspects." Jason fell back into an office chair. "...this can't be real…" Aizawa leaned forward in his chair. "All of the teachers know this. You're the only student on this campus who knows." Jason took a moment to collect his thoughts before looking at his former teacher. "So let me guess: you want to keep all the plans and contingencies between us." "No." Jason looked puzzled, but Aizawa explained. "We want plausible deniability. If one of the other teachers starts asking questions, I want to honestly tell them I have no idea what's going on. Keep the planning among your 'Agency'." Jason nodded. "Got it. We already have everything covered, but thanks for letting us know to keep our mouths shut."

As Jason walked away from the office, he faced a dilemma. Would he keep this to himself in order to prevent panic among his team? Would he tell them in order for them to be better informed? Jason swore and punched the wall. Luckily for the wall, he was quirkless now, meaning all he managed to do was bruise his own hand. Jason shook his own hand and took a deep breath before walking to the library for his weekly meeting with his friends.

The room was in shock. Nobody dared speak. Jason's words were haunting. Itsuka stared down at the floor. "...so we can't even trust our own teachers now…" Momo remained silent before looking around the room. "Have any of you told anyone else about our contingency plans?" The group all shook their heads. Momo nodded. "Good. We need to keep it that way, or run the risk of the spy figuring it out and informing the League of Villains." Kirishima looked at Momo and Jason, who had a habit of standing near each other during these meetings. "Still, it may be wise to change up the contingency plans anyways. Just in case." Jason nodded in agreement. Momo smiled a little bit as she looked at the redhead. "Are you trying to take my job as second in command?" Kirishima's eyes widened. "No no, that's not what- I mean, I- wait, are you messing with me?" "Yes." The group laughed. Mina smiled at Momo. It was the first time in a long time that Momo had joked around with them. After the laughing settled down, Jason pulled out his phone. "Alright, I'll make some phone calls and-" Iida stood up. "No. Don't use your cell phone. The League could be listening in on our personal devices." Jason sighed and put his phone back in his pocket. "You're right. That might rule out any of the office phones on campus too." Jason rubbed his eyes, clearly exhausted. Itsuka leaned over and whispered in Shoto's ear. "Has he been sleeping?" Shoto shook her head. Itsuka smugly grinned at her. "Is it your fault?" Shoto snapped her head towards Itsuka with a slight blush. Itsuka giggled. Shoto's sudden movement caught Jason's attention. "Is everything alright?" Shoto looked forward again. "Yep."

Once the meeting was over, the 10 friends began heading back to the dorms. Afternoon classes were still in session, so nobody else was outside. Shoto wrapped an arm around her boyfriend's arm. "Hey, we should go take a nap." Jason smiled. "Honestly, I feel like I need one." Kirishima stretched and looked at Denki. "Hey, do you still have that gaming console of yours?" The blonde guy smiled. "Yea. Want to play some games?" "Hell yea." The girls, except for Shoto, started to talk about dinner plans. Kyoko spoke up. "Who's turn is it to make dinner tonight?" Momo looked at her phone. "Hm… it would be… me and Iida." Itsuka giggled. "So just you, then? We all remember what happened the last time we let Iida cook." Iida looked down at the ground. "Apologies." Itsuka hugged him. "It's ok, Tenya. Not everyone is a cook." Mina, walking backwards, turned to Momo. "I'll help you tonight." "Thanks, Mina."

The pink skinned woman slowed down a little and waited for Momo to catch up before spinning on her heels and walking next to her best friend. "Glad to see you're holding up alright." Momo had a faint smile on her face as she looked down at the ground. "I didn't know that someone could miss someone else so much. I miss him so much that it hurts. Is this how Chris and Shoto felt when Jason was kidnapped?" Mina looked up at the sky, thinking to herself as they walked. Then she finally answered. "I think they're different feelings. Jason and Chris are basically brothers, and Jason was kidnapped by the League of Villains. We had no idea if Jason was still alive or not. In this case, we know Chris is fine. He's just training with All Might and Gran Torino. You'll see him again." Momo sighed. "...you're right…" Mina rugged her friend. "Cheer up, buttercup. Tonight is taco night. Let's go make some amazing tacos for us and all of our friends." Momo's smile widened.

As the ten friends walked towards their their dorms, they had no clue that all hell was about to break loose.
