Porter Potty

It was a cloudy day in Seal Island and the siblings were hanging out at the park. Lily and Seal were munching on some cotton candy and watching the older kids play basketball on the court.

"I'm open! I'm open!" Amelia shouted from one side of the court.

As Zaire tossed the ball in Amelia's direction, Bro zoomed out of nowhere and intercepted the ball. He dodged Porter running towards him and juked Zaire, propelling him straight into the ground. And just like that, Bro tossed the ball into the hoop without missing a beat.

"Aw, again?" Amelia pouted.

"What's the score?" Porter asked.

"14 to 4," Lily answered, raising her hand.

"I'm ready to stop at any time," Bro taunted, spinning the ball. "Either that or we'll reach 50 to 6 by the end of the day."

"We'll see about that, Zaire chuckled as he got up.

"I have to go to the bathroom," Porter muttered.

"I think there was a porta-potty near the biking trail," Amelia said.

Porter nodded and ran into that direction. Seal jumped into his pocket as he passed by.

"You said potty," Lily giggled.

As the two laughed, Bro shook his head. "Oh brother, we are way too old for this..." he groaned.

After some time, Porter found the bathroom. It looked clean, as if it was taken care of multiple times a day. He walked in and locked the door.

A while later, Porter had taken care of his business. He tried to open the door but it seemed stuck. Seal barked at Porter and pointed at the lock with his nose. It said it was still occupied.

"Oh, right. Sorry," Porter said, smiling like a goof as he turned the lock. He pressed against the door, but it still refused to open. He rammed into the door with all of his strength, but to no avail. This probably didn't work because there wasn't a lot of space inside.

"Hmm, the door must be jammed," he sighed and pointed to the chimney. "Could you get the others and tell them I'm stuck?"

He then lifted Seal up to the chimney where he could climb out. Seal popped out and rolled off the roof of the bathroom. He quickly hopped along the trail, trying to get back to the basketball court as fast as he could.

A long time later, Seal finally reached the park centre. Amelia was the first to see him and ran up to him.

"Where's Porter?" she asked.

In response, Seal raised his flippers and pointed in the direction of the portable bathroom. He barked a couple of times, likely to say that he needs them.

"Porter got some potty troubles again?" Zaire chimed in.

Lily giggled again, joining the party. "Did he forget to unlock the door again?"

Bro sighed again, walking up to everyone. "Well, guess it's worth checking out. Rockapalooza doesn't start for another hour."

Amelia picked up Seal and ran along to the trail. Strong gusts of wind blew as they ran.

A while later, the four made it to where the portable bathroom should've been.

"Uhh, where's Porter?" Zaire asked.

Faint screaming could be heard, and when the siblings looked up, they saw a portable bathroom being carried around in the air.

"I have several questions..." Bro said.

"Answering them aren't going to get us anywhere, now are they?" Lily responded.

"Right," he answered. "Let's go get him."

The four started to chase after the flying bathroom, which had drifted over the trees and off the trail.

As they ran deeper into the woods, they slowly lost sight of the floating blue outhouse. Amelia tripped over a large rock, knocking over Lily, who knocked over Bro, who knocked over Zaire. They all fell over and rolled down the hill, pinballing off trees and other rocks before abruptly rolling off a cliff.

Zaire was able to glide over in time, but the other three fell into a creek below.

"Where is he?!" Bro yelled, treading the waters.

"There!" Lily shouted, pointing towards the toilet, still drifting through the skies.

"Couldn't I just shoot it down?" Zaire suggested.

"Sure you can," Bro answered jokingly. "We save Porter and get a free shower. Win-win."

Zaire didn't take the hint and shot a blade of wind from his arms. It missed completely and blew a hole into an office building from a distance.

"Nice shot," Lily snorted. "May I suggest an eye doctor?"

"Or an archery class?" Amelia added.

Zaire rolled his eyes and was about to try again when he saw the bathroom drift farther and farther out of his range.

"I swear, when this is over, we are getting this kid diapers..." he sighed in disappointment.

"It won't be over as long as we just stand here," Bro said. "Follow that toilet!"

Everyone froze from those words.

"Yeah, never thought anyone would have to say those words in a sentence," he admitted.

The three crawled out of the creek and climbed up the cliffside where they caught sight of the potty again. It was flying toward the city.

"What are the chances anyone will notice a portable bathroom careening through the skies?" Amelia asked.

"Well, our city is built by seals, half of the things we buy are in cans, and one of our brother is a flying mouse. I doubt anyone will notice," Bro said with a shrug.

"Hurry, it's getting away!" Lily shouted.

The four ran down the hill and onto the city sidewalk. The winds blew stronger as the bathroom flew farther from them. Bro zoomed forward ahead of everyone with his bands and got in front of the portable potty's path, ready to stop it with his body.

"Enough of this nonsense!" Bro shouted, preparing for the impact.

It didn't matter if he was ready or not, he would still face the same results - getting ran over and dragged a few feet by the toilet box.

As Lily and Amelia stopped to check on their brother, Zaire continued on ahead.

"Okay, I'll admit that was stupid," he muttered, rubbing his arms.

"Well, at least you tried," Amelia responded with a smile.

"Why didn't you use your bands to teleport into the bathroom and rescue Porter?" Lily suggested.

"You probably can't tell at first, but I can't teleport with these bands," Bro explained. "These bands allow me to move fast, yes, but I'm not able to go anywhere I please in a blink of an eye. And I can't phase through objects either, no matter how badly I need to. It's like a flashlight facing a wall. The light will only shine on the front, with no light visible on the other side."

After some time, Zaire came back to the others with a smile on his face.

"So, I finally found the bathroom," he announced. "It's just outside where the concert will be."

"Oh, WAIT!" Lily exclaimed in realization. "Rockapalooza! We have fifteen minutes to get there before it starts!"

"Just fifteen?" Amelia asked in confusion. "I thought we had an hour to get him."

"Guess time really flies when you're trying to get your younger brother out of a porta-potty drifting through the sky," Bro muttered out loud.

Lily giggled at the word 'potty' yet again, and Zaire chuckled in response, "We're watching what we say around you now, little girl."

Ten minutes later, the four reached the concert grounds. While the main event was still being set up, a crowd was already gathering.

"The show will start soon. We should hurry," Bro advised.

"No worries, he's right-" Zaire was about to say when he froze completely, eyes wide and face stiff.

"Which one is it?!" he screamed.

There was only one bathroom in the area when Zaire was there. Now, there were several other bathrooms along with the one Porter was in. They all looked exactly the same, and some were occupied.

"If we want to enjoy the concert, we better find him!" Amelia said.

The four spread out and searched through the bathrooms, turning up unsuccessful. Through all of the awkward apologies and screams from the people in the bathroom, no one could find him.

After four minutes, the siblings regrouped and found one bathroom that nobody checked. The bathroom lock read 'Vacant', like the bathroom Porter was in.

"Attention, party people! In one minute, the main event of the Rockapalooza concert will start!" an announcer shouted. "Are you ready?!"

The crowd roared with excitement.

Sirens went off in the siblings' heads. In one minute, the crowd would go wild, and if Porter was making noise, the siblings wouldn't hear him until the end of the concert.

"It's now or never," Bro said, slowly opening the door.

"Porter..?"

It wasn't Porter in the bathroom. It was a Clone.

This Clone was sitting down, wordlessly chewing on a sandwich. He froze in his tracks when he saw his privacy disrupted. Everyone was locked in an awkward staring match between the hungry Clone and the snack that wouldn't end.

Bro slowly closed the door and left the Clone to his sandwich.

"Well..." Lily said, surprised.

Out of nowhere, guitar chords could be heard, sending an eager crowd in a screaming frenzy.

"Are you ready to rock, Seal Island?!" the guitarist yelled into the mic.

The audience cheered as loud as they could.

"I can't hear you!" the guitarist yelled. "I said, are you ready to rock, Seal Island?!"

In response, the audience screamed so loud that any glass object within a mile was probably shattered. How everyone's ears weren't totally busted is a mystery.

The siblings tried shouting, but it was no use. The music and shouting overshadowed their calls for Porter.

Just then, they saw it- a portable toilet crowd surfing before being carried away by the wind. Porter was probably screaming, either from the concert or just cowardice.

The four ran out of the concert and stopped just where they could be heard again.

"I think it's heading back to the city!" Zaire yelled.

Lily looked back at the concert. "Hmm, save big brother or stay and enjoy the concert... What to do," she pondered.

Everyone looked at her with a face that said, "PLEASE tell us you're joking."

"I'm joking, I'm joking!" Lily laughed. "We'll get it next month anyway."

They ran back into the city, following the bathroom as it bounced off the skyscrapers. They lost track of it for a moment when it smashed through a window of another office building. Zaire carried the sisters into the air, landing in the building while Bro followed him in his ball of light.

"Look!" Amelia pointed at several holes in the office.

Upon closer investigation, Porter's potty had done a bit of damage. Some walls were bashed in, the desks (and other porcelain thrones) were in ruins, and the ceiling had a large, gaping hole leading to the rooftop.

Upon reaching the top of the building, they saw the toilet flying towards the beach.

"How'd it... never mind," Zaire sighed.

They flew back to ground level and ran to the beach as fast as they could. The toilet was circling around them as it started to fly off towards the horizon.

"We're too late!" Lily yelled.

"Are we?" Bro and Zaire looked at each other and rushed ahead.

Zaire, ready, shot a blade of wind straight at the porta-potty and missed again.

He tried again and again, missing every single shot.

"Anytime now, man!" Bro ordered. "I can't do my business if you don't blow up the bathroom!"

Everyone froze and looked at Bro with a weird face.

"You heard me," he whispered, looking away.

After several missed blades, Zaire landed a direct hit on the bathroom, freeing Porter and causing him to fall towards the ocean.

Bro took a running start, used his bands to turn into a ball of light and zoomed towards Porter. He caught him just before he fell into the water.

"Thanks. It was getting stuffy in there!" Porter sighed as Bro carried him back to the others.

"No prob. What's family for?" he asked, putting him on the ground.

The boys looked over at the girls, who were trying not to laugh at the whole mishap.

"Other than watching their brother get stuck in a portable bathroom?" Porter muttered.

Bro shook his head, still processing what happened today. Just then, the laughter stopped abruptly.

"Hey, do you smell that?" Amelia said.

Zaire sniffed the air in search of the odd smell and crinkled his nose when he got close to Porter.

"Found it..." he gagged.

"Guess we can't be that surprised considering how long you were stuck in there," Lily mentioned.

"I'll get the bath ready," Bro declared, zooming towards the house with his bands.

"So, we're are we going now?" Porter wondered.

"For us, home. For you, the bathtub," Lily answered, holding her nose.

"Isn't that at home, though?"

Amelia put her hands on her hips and nodded.

No surprise, none of the siblings got to see the concert in person. Not just because they were tired after spending the whole day chasing a flying porta potty, but because they spent the next few hours cleaning their brother. Still, at the very least, if nothing like this happens the next month, they might just make it. At least they ran the concert's main event on TV. After helping clean Porter, they sat down and watched the event, with the exception of Bro, who went straight to bed instead.

"Hey, Porter, do you know how the toilet started flying?" Lily asked.

"Actually, I don't think the bathroom was on its foundation," Porter answered in conviction.

"Maybe your weight is also a factor," Zaire added. "Light enough to ride a Roomba but falls like a rock in a lake."

"It's a porta-potty. What foundation?" Lily questioned.

After some time, the show had ended and the remaining four were getting ready for bed. Porter had said good night to the girls and Seal and was about to walk to his room when Zaire stopped him.

"Wait here," he said. "I've got something for you."

After a few minutes, Zaire came back with a box. He handed it to Porter, giving a cheeky smile.

"Diapers?" Porter asked, looking at Zaire, confused.

"Yep, diapers," Zaire answered, hopping into his bed. "A little gift from all of us to you."
