Finally Dead

Kontumba.

It was midnight and the rain had stopped pouring over the island of Kontumba. The wind was so harsh and cold that every road and pavement was desolated. The citizens of Kontumba were sleeping in their respective houses except for the guards, some higher-ups of the council, mentors, and the people from the Royal Family who were waiting for the traitor to regain her consciousness.

The security was tight on the second floor of the hospital as the traitor was kept there to recuperate.

But the inside of room number twenty was silent and peaceful. Sarah was put on an IV drip and Aryan was sitting on a stool beside her bed. With his arms crossed in front of his chest, he was leaning against the wall and looking out of the closed glass window.

He would occasionally glance at the girl whose facial colors had started to return slowly and she looked much normal than earlier.

Finally, Sarah opened her eyes and glanced at her surroundings.
