Chapter 12 : Smiley face pancakes :)

- 3rd person -

"Shi-channnn! Papaaaaa!!! wake up!!!"

Asahi and Noya grumbled and shifted under the sheets. Last night was Noya's first night over at his new place aka Asahi's place. It was one of the first times he had a peaceful slumber without breaking out in cold sweats due to a nightmare.

It wasn't the same for Asahi though. He watched Noya sleep just to remind himself that Noya was okay and there really was no reason to worry, but let's be real here...

Not worrying doesn't exist for our little worrisome giant.

Noya stretches his arms upward before rubbing his eyes to now look down at Ryu who was smiling eagerly at him. " Shiiiii-channnnn!" Ryu squeals before tackling Noya into a tight hug. Noya chuckles as he ruffles Ryu's hair who is now a giggling mess. " PAPAAAA WAKE UPPPP!" Asahi groans and slings an arm over both Noya and Ryu before pulling them both towards himself.

Noya let's put a surprised squeal along with Ryu who has become a giggling mess. " PAPAAAA SILLYY WAKE UPPPPP" Ryu sequels now reaching his hands up to squeeze his papa's face. Asahi groans before slowly opening his eyes to face both Ryu and Noya who are simply smiling at him.

" Good Morning" Asahi says in a light gruff tone before reaching up to cup Noya's face. Noya simply snuggles into Asahi's hand and smiles " Good Morning sleepy head" Asahi slightly smiles before reaching out to peck Noya gently on the lips.

Noya smiles into the peck before he heard a loud huff followed by a loud groan " RYU WANT KISSES FROM SHI-CHAN AND PAPA TOOOOOOO!"  Both Noya and Asahi look at each other before facing Ryu at laughing. Ryu smiles brightly before snuggling his way in between his papa and his shi-chan.

Asahi smiles and kisses Ryu gently on the forehead while Noya kisses Ryu's cheek. Ryu let's out a heart-fluttering laugh while Noya and Asahi look down at him with pure admiration. ＞ω＜

Ryu grabs ahold of Asahi's shirt and props himself into Asahi's lap before speaking once again " Papaaaa can we have smiley face pancakes for breakfast?" Ryu pleads. Asahi chuckles at his son before picking him up and standing up alongside the bed.

Noya smiles at the sight in front of him and decides to finally get out of bed as well. Noya then makes his way to Asahi before gently snatching Ryu from his arms. Ryu's squeals in delightment as Noya spins him around in the air. Noya quickly comes to a stop careful not to fall or to drop Ryu as he holds him tightly to his chest.

" You can MAYBE have smiley face pancakes but only if you help me clean and do laundry" Noya smirks at Ryu before looking over at Asahi and winking. Asahi shakes his head and smiles to himself as he watches Noya trick his son into helping him do chores around the house. Ryu throws his hands up in the air eagerly before yelling " OKAYYY\\*^o^*//"

Noya then places Ryu on the ground and says " Now go to your room and pick up the laundry, it better be in the basket or no more smiley face pancakes!" Noya closes his eyes while Ryu gasps and quickly runs to his room to make sure his laundry doesn't come in between him and his smiley face pancakes because that would just be utterly heartbreaking.

Noya chuckles as he watches Ryu practically sprint out the room and down the hallway. He turns around to face Asahi who's cheekily smiling at him while leaning against the wall. Asahi opens his arms and Noya happily makes his way into Asahi's warm embrace.

"You know that was... kinda smart" Asahi says while placing his head lightly on top of Noya's head. Noya snorts and says " That's how I used to bribe Tanaka to do my laundry" Asahi laughs while Noya continues " Except instead of pancakes it was the password to my netflix so he could watch his K-dramas and telenovelas"

Asahi throws his head back while laughing " Well that does sound like something he would do" Noya simply nods before snuggling into Asahi's chest inhaling the comforting smell of Cinnamon. Moments pass and Asahi without warning picks up Noya and spins him around copying the motion of what Noya was doing to Ryu minutes earlier.

Noya lets out a yelp before laughing along with Asahi as they both spin around in the room. After a couple of seconds, Asahi stops and Noya tenderly places his forehead against Asahi's. They both smile and stay like this until they hear a loud yell come from down the hall " OKAY SHI-CHAN IM READY!" (๑¯ω¯๑)

Both Asahi and Noya burst out laughing before Asahi gently sets Noya down. Noya looks back up at Asahi who is smiling at him with a tender look in his eyes. Without thinking he yanks Asahi down by his Pj's and places a light kiss on his lips. Asahi freezes before closing his eyes and wrapping his arm tightly around Noya's waist.

Noya pulls away from the kiss and stops only inches away from Asahi's face. Noya rubs his nose gently against Asahi's before pulling away completely. He smiles at Asahi once more before turning around to make his way down to Ryu's room leaving Asahi in a smiling daze.

Asahi chuckles while shaking his head and smiling to himself. He makes his way to the kitchen and can't help but smile to himself when he hears the heart squeezing giggles coming from both Ryu and Noya.

Asahi hums to himself as he brings out the ingredients needed to make the pancakes. He makes sure to set aside the chocolate chips and whip cream along with the strawberries and syrup used to decorate the pancakes.

* Around 30 minutes later because I don't fucking know how to make pancakes 😭 *

" SHIIII-CHANNNN COME BACK HEREEEE" Ryu yells through the hallway as he chases down Noya because Noya had supposedly stolen his nose. Asahi watches as Noya slides down the hallway while Ryu waddles behind him.

He makes his way to the exit of the kitchen as sees Noya holding up his hand as if he's holding something while Ryu jumps up and down desperately trying to reach whatever was in Noya's hand.

At that moment Ryu turns around and spots him and calls him over " PAPAAA SHI-CHAN STOLE MY NOSE AND WONT GIVE IT BACK!" Asahi looks over at Noya in curiosity before Noya snorts and shrugs.

Asahi sighs before walking down the hallway approaching both Noya and Ryu. Ryu turns and makes the grabby motion towards his papa. Asahi raises an eyebrow at his son before gently picking him up. Ryu doesn't say anything but simply points at Noya. Noya and Asahi look at each rather confused as Asahi takes a step closer to Noya.

Before Noya can realize what's happening Ryu reaches out towards his nose and pinches it followed by fits of laughter. " HAHA SHI-CHAN NOW I HAVE YOUR NOSE!" Noya dramatically gasps and turns to Asahi " He stole my nose?!" Ryu giggles and turns towards Asahi and whispers in his ear " run papa!" Asahi smirks and nods before turning around to take off in the opposite direction careful to not drop Ryu. 

" WOAH COME BACK HERE!" Noya yells before taking off after Asahi and Ryu. Asahi runs into the living room and gently sets Ryu down. " RYU RUN!" Ryu runs turns the corner and runs. Asahi turns around and spots Noya intensely glaring at him.

" I'm sorry but this is where I stop you" Asahi says dramatically. Noya simply sighs and cracks his knuckles " Are you sure you want to do this Asahi" Asahi lowers his head and brings his hand to his chest " I'm sure... because it's mY niNjA wAy" Noya then lowers his head in shame and says in a low tone " you always were a fool..." Noya then brings his hands together and yells " FIRE STYLE JUSTU!"

Asahi dramatically yells and moves to the side quickly " You'll have to do better than that to hurt me... RASENGAN!" Noya throws himself dramatically to the floor before getting up once again. " eNoUgH of ThEsE gAmEs" Noya gets up and brings his hands together. Asahi gasp and desperately yells " nO nOt tHat!" Noya closes his eyes and sighs " This is goodbye my love...." He runs towards Asahi and yells " THOUSANDS YEARS OF DEATH!" Asahi yells dramatically as he falls to the ground and plays dead.

Noya brings his hand to his chest and quietly says " In another life.... we would've been happy." He then turns around and makes his way to a different hallway in the house leaving Asahi on the floor. " Ryuuu come out come out wherever you areee~" Noya says in a sing-song tone.

" If you give me back my nose this can all end quickly... I promise it'll be painless" Noya stops when he hears a loud thud come from the kitchen. He smirks to himself before running to the kitchen only to spot Ryu holding the whip cream can. " Come any closer Shi-chan and I'll spray you!" Noya gasp before taking a few steps back.

Noya then feels strong arms wrap around his waist and he flings his head back " ASAHI?! I THOUGHT I KILLED YOU!" Asahi smirks and winks " I was resurrected by the oh so powerful Ryu" Noya clicks his tongue " CURSES! ILL GET YOU ALLLLL!" Ryu giggles and then motions to Asahi to bring Noya closer. " Bring him here papa!" Noya pretends to put up a struggle as Asahi drags him closer to Ryu.

Asahi stops feet away from Ryu who is tapping the whip cream can impatiently. " Now Shi-chan... if you give me back my nose I promise to give you back yours!" Noya tries his best to hold in his laughter as he turns his head and says " Never!" Ryu giggles and holds up the whip cream can " I'm sorry Shi-chan you leave me no choice!"

Ryu then sprays a bunch of whip cream on his hands before messily wiping it on Noya's cheek. Noya squeals and tries his best to run away but he can't due to Asahi's strong grip. Asahi throws his head back in laughter until Ryu flings whip cream on his face as well. " RYUUUU WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO MEEE!" Asahi let's go of Noya and bring his hands up to his face as in attempted to wipe off the whip cream.

Noya then picks up Ryu who is now squealing " Forgive me shiiiii-channnnnnnnnn"  Noya tickles Ryu and responds with " The things you did to me are unforgivable child I must get my REVENGEEEE!" Noya then wipes a bunch of whip cream all over Ryu's laughing face. The three continue to play like this for a couple more moments.

Asahi and Noya look down at Ryu and laugh before Noya ruffles Ryu's hair and says " Ryu you should probably go wash your face" Ryu giggles and shakes his head before skipping off to the bathroom.  Noya then turns to Asahi and laugh " that's the most fun I've had in ages!" Asahi chuckles before making his way to embrace Noya but is quickly stopped " Nuh-uh you can hug me when you get this sticky mess off your face!"

Asahi gasp and then points to Noya's face " Your face is just as messy as mine!" Noya then crosses his arms and laughs " go wash your face silly!" Asahi defeatedly sighs and makes his way to the bathroom but not before leaning down and gently licking some whip cream off of Noya's face. Leaving Noya a now blushing mess. Noya holds his cheek and makes his way to the sink to wash off the whip cream.

Five minutes later everyone has now washed their faces and is patiently sitting at the table waiting for Asahi to pass around the pancakes. Asahi sets down the pancakes that have whip cream chocolate chips eyes with a whip cream smile along with strawberries.  Noya smiles down at his plate along with Ryu who giggles.

" YAYYY SMILEY FACE PANCAKES!" ( ^ω^)
