Chapter 3

" Welcome, " the vampire royal family entered inside.

They sat down on the chair in the living room. Hazel's mother, father, and aunt sat opposite to them.

" Where is the girl that is getting married to my son," he holds his son's hand.

" Well.....I will be honest with you," the king said " She runs away,"

" Run away?" the vampire king said shocked

" We just found out this morning, she ran away last night," he said " We try looking for her but it is up to no avail,"

" You can't even take care of your daughter...can you call yourself a parent?" the vampire king shouted

" Please, I will like it if you stop insulting us....for crying out loud what is wrong with all of you?" Hazel mother said in anger

" Please, ma.....my father did not mean to utter those words, I hope you will forgive him," the prince said.

He is known to be a brave fighter in the vampire clan. People in his clan respect him for his kindness, when he first meets Hazel he fell in love with her at first sight. He was the one who suggested the marriage. Deep down he is angry with Hazel for embarrassing him but he has to keep his calm posture in front of her family.

" How about this? Kesey is in the human world, how about we send him to look for her?"

" Kesey?" the queen asked curiously

" Ah, he is my stepbrother...he is a half-human,"

" Okay, then," the queen said " If you find her, please tell him to let me see her first,"

" Why should we do that? If we see her, she will get married straight, do you want her to run away?" the king said with coldness in his voice

" There is something you guys are missing....she is my daughter, a child I carry for nine months.....she left without even a goodbye and when you see her you expect me to fold my hands and let you guys take her like that without even seeing her, then you guys must be out of your mind,"

" That's enough.....whatever they want to do, let them do it," Hazel's father shouted at her.

" If you don't care about your daughter, I care," she stands up and went to her room.

" I am so sorry for her attitude, today...she is not always like this," the aunt said

They did not say anything, they left. The prince looked at them one more time and he left.

" Where is that woman? " the king shouted

" Oh boy, let me leave here...I don't want to hear their arguments," she thought and she sighs " Hazel, where are you? Do you know that your action is putting many lives in danger?" she shook her head " Wherever you are, please re-think it and come back," She left the palace.

The king went to their room.

" What kind of stunt were you pulling just now?"

" What do you mean? I am helping you since you could not talk, you called yourself a king yet you could not speak up or protect your only child.....Are you a father?"

" What do you want me to do? Hazel caused this herself, why did she run away?"

" You know I have never been glad about something before but now I am...I am glad she run away, I hope they didn't see her,"

" You....are you sick? Did you eat anything bad today?"

" Can you move aside? You are blocking my way," she pushed him when he didn't want to leave the way, she went to the living room.

" What kind of woman did I marry?"
