/Intro/

 I fell in love with her smile because it was odd- her words were sweet, but she looked strange. Her smile would unwind once she was alone, her eyes narrowed in tiredness, her legs looked weak, her arms almost dropping her books, and her stomach growling out of hunger, but- around others, she played the part of a hero with a smile. She saved many, helped others, defended herself, and took care of everyone, no matter what. She acted one way but was another- everyone saw her as a perfect doll, but I only saw a broken girl giving a smile for everyone because it brightened their days- her smile made them happy, and it made her happy too.

He wasn't like regular people; he didn't push me aside- he kept me close. He wanted to hear me, see the real me, and that scared me. He was able to tell the truth, see what others didn't, fight for what he wanted or knew what was right, no matter what I did- he always saw the happiness... why was he ok with being rejected? Why was he ok with pushing me over the finish line? Why was he ok with losing? Why was he ok with anything I said? Why was he ok with me yelling at him? Why was he ok with me? Why did he want me?

First Glance

  Let's be clear- these few past days have been challenging with trying to help Nicole be happy.  I decided to take a break from work today and take her out to have fun- "Where are we going?" Nicole asked, and immediately, I put my index finger to her lips- keeping her quiet.  "You'll see- just wait."  She shrugged and jumped on my back as I started walking to the mall.  We first went to the arcade, and then I let her drag me to the makeup department so that she could make me look like a femboy-


  I was doing Justin's makeup until I noticed him staring straight out the see-through window of the mall.  I caught him looking at the movie theater; a familiar girl with brown hair and tan skin was working near the entrance of the concession stands.


  "That's Sue, right?" I questioned as he shrugged, looking away.  "I don't know... Maybe." he lied as I rolled my eyes, "B*tch, you come here all the time to chill with her." I explained as he growled.  "I go for the movies- they are good."


  I glanced back across the theaters, seeing Sue bend over to grab something, so her bottom was faced towards us.  


  "And I bet the view is nice too." I nudged his shoulder, making him look across to her- "YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!" his face turned pink, looking at me.


  "Whatever do you mean?" I played dumb.


  After a while longer of doing other things- we started walking past the movie theater.  "You think we should watch a movie?" I asked as he shook his head, "Nah, let's-"  "JUSTIN! NICOLE! HEY GUYS!" A happy voice yelled in happiness.  We noticed Sue.


  "I'll be back- just wait here," J said, walking to Sue in a hurry.


  I stared at the both of them, my smile fading a bit.  People say it's easy to love someone, but it's harder to get over them.  But the question is: How many times can your heartbreak because of someone?


  The answer is: "A lot." I slowly smiled at Justin as I noticed his face redden with Sue; I sighed and just took off walking to a nearby restaurant.
