Our First Quest

After we thanked the emperor, we were led out of the room towards another chamber. Once again, the servant left before the door was opened, but this time it was us who had to push open the door.

The door was nowhere near as fancy as the throne room, a single plain looking piece of wood, and as it swung open we could see a room that was just as boring as the door.

There were four stone walls, a dull looking tree, planted on top of a coffin in the center and a few wooden benches surrounding it. On the ceiling was another door and I wondered what kind of idiot would put a door on the ceiling.

With the tiny tree in the middle the small room had very little space and as it seemed unoccupied, we sat down on one of the wooden benches. When we sat down, I could see under the folliage and I spotted an old man trimming the tree's branches.
