Underperforming

I followed after Cloak Zero silently, making sure to keep pace. It was never a good idea to make an enemy out of an assassin.

If I was smart, I would have been paying attention to the path we took, remembering anything that would help me repeat the trip. However, I was too busy trying to formulate a plan to kill a three star.

I could probably ask Yukano, but it would feel better if I could do it without her help. It wasn't like I didn't want help, still having the help of a super strong archer that could weaken an entire mob with a single arrow was a bit too much.

"Alright, we are here."

Cloak Zero motioned towards a plain wooden door. The city around was neither poor nor rich and seemed like a wonderful balance in between.

I opened the door as instructed and walked into a warmly lit room with a good sized wooden table in the middle.
