Baggage

"So what is your new class?" Jesen was like an excited puppy dog and I felt bad casually brushing him off.

"Oh it is not that interesting, just some upgrade to my stats and my senses."

Jesen humphed as if he had expected something more interesting and I wondered if I should just tell them. They were my friends and it was not like the Backup Plan where it would disappear if I told them my secret.

Eventually I decided to wait for a little bit. It would be better to get a grasp of the situation. I did not want my friends to get hurt if they were connected to my wild form and after the zepsile I was trying to be much more careful.

"Alright we should head back to the town and turn in our quest."

It felt weird just standing there and I tried to urge our party onward. However, Azel was just staring at me, not moving.

"Do I look that weird?" I asked her, thinking that she was laughing at my new hair color.
