Wildin

There was no time for chatter as we returned home and collapsed into our respective beds. The events of our expedition had caught up with us and none of us had any energy to spare.

I think I ate a little bit of food before I passed out, but I am not sure, I just remember the familiar softness of my bed.

That night I think I slept too deeply for any sort of dreams to penetrate my mind and when I woke up, I felt extremely refreshed. Azel had not woken me and I had gotten to sleep as much as I wanted.

The sun was already at its peak and when I walked into the dining room there was no breakfast laid out and when I checked the front door there was a steaming basket of food. It seemed that I was actually the first person awake.

It was a new experience for me and I quietly set up the meal before I started eating. It was relaxing sitting with the window open, allowing the sun to bathe me in light, as I slowly relaxed eating some tasty food.
