"Just do it already," I snorted, "I don't have time for indecision."

Pain shot through my head. It made me feel me like my head was going to split in half. The system was right about it being temporary. Just as quickly as the pain came it disappeared. I rubbed my head slowly as my mind started to go through the new information.

Mana enhancement level 1. User can use this skill to increase all stats by 10. 1 mana for every stat point increased. Enhancement mana is consumed when used.

So it's as useful as it's expensive. I smiled as I entered another game. I wanted to test my new skill. I hadn't shown him any of my magic yet either. Maybe I'd lucky enough to clash with him again.

It didn't take me long to wipe out another group of unlucky kids who were stupid enough to clash with me. I was in a group fight again. I didn't need the help of the group to take out five guys without even using my dragon strength. Mana enhancement easily boosted my strength past what anyone could even imagine. I enjoyed being able to just wipe out everyone out who got in my way.

Even in human form it wasn't easy for people to handle me. Adding in enhancement magic when they didn't expect added a burst to my abilities, and movement that was pretty much impossible for them to predict or track. Minutes blurred into hours as I got excited about the amount of benefits I got from enhancement. I was logged out before I'd realized so much time had passed. Shit.

I opened the door to the pod, and stepped out quickly. Beelining for the elevator. I hoped they would spot me moving out, and follow. I checked the time. My XP?

1775/3200 XP

That was a nice boost. Too bad I didn't manage to level up this time. I could've used another level. Now I had a new skill. I realized something about my new skill that bothered me.

System why is my new skill level one?

Apologies. Mana enhancement requires training the body to endure it. If you don't properly prepare your body for the strain of mana enhancement then it will tear you apart from the inside. You can surpass the level limit I've assigned, but it is not recommended. Level 1 skill level is a recommendation. Not a limitation or requirement.

I can pass level one on the mana enhancement skill. I snorted to myself. That meant this particular skill could be more useful if I needed it to be. I couldn't ignore the systems warning on this one. The system wasn't in the habit of telling me lies.

I needed an edge, and now I had one I could use. I didn't want to know what would happen if I exceeded my current limit on mana enhancement. I didn't have to wait very long to figure out if they were following me or not. They were the next ones in the elevator behind me. It didn't take me very long to cross the school grounds to the cafeteria.

Ethan saw me from across the cafeteria, and Savannah saw me as well. Both pretended not to know me. The wolves had seen me with them, but it didn't seem like they were interested in them. They were completely focused on me. I wondered what I would do to delay them for a few more hours.

Maybe run back to the VR room to waste some more time. It would give me another shot at a level up. If I got a level up on top of my new skill, then at least I stood that much better of a chance at surviving this. I needed to delay them a few more hours. I glanced over them casually, and realized they were also stuffing down massive amounts of meat.

I guess it made sense. They were werewolves after all. Meat was probably their favorite meal time everything just like me. I rolled my eyes, and snorted at them. I didn't have time to be thinking about what they ate.

It wasn't important right now. I had other things I needed to worry about for now. Like distracting all four wolves until it got late enough for the other students to head back to the dorms. Winter weathering was coming, and with it the came the cold. Most of the poor students wouldn't be able to purchase a jacket with all their credits being stolen.

The jackasses would head back to their dorms with no weaker students to torment. Just needed to delay them six or seven more hours. During or after dinner would be my best opportunity to lure them to the park. That's when the least amount of people would be out, and about. My body tensed as I politely waited for them to finish eating before dropping my own tray off.

I didn't know why I waited for them to finish eating before leaving. They didn't loosen up on the pursuit of me, but two of them did split off. That caught me kind of off guard. I hadn't expected them to split off so casually. I was stuck with the smaller guy, and muscle mountain number three.

Why? What were they after? I switched to infrared to see if I could spot who the other two were pursuing, but I didn't really have time to look around with Baron headed my way. I switched back to normal vision, and focused on Baron.

"What do you want?" I looked at the mountain of muscle in front of me.

"None of your friends around to help you now," Baron smiled.

I dedicated ten mana to speed, and kicked Baron in the nuts. Baron was never faster than me so when I added extra speed in before kicking him. He just didn't have enough time to armor up before impact.

"That's for smashing my face in," I kneed him in the face as he was coming down.
