"Does your heart flutter everytime you see me?" she asked him
"Yes." he smiled and gave the answer catching up with his breath.
"Are you always glad and excited whenever we run into each other?"
"Yes." He replied. But he stopped her from speaking further. "All those stages are over Dariya. Right now I just want to show you how much I love you." He told her as she looked at him and kissed. He lifted her again and carried her to the bedroom near them putting her down in the bed. He kissed again, sitting up straight, for a long time. He would look her and kiss again and again.
Then he took off the shawl around her shoulders and her fingers played in his shirt, unbuttoning one by one. They were in their own world while Dariya's heart ached inside. 'I will let go of it just for once' she decided as she watched him and completely fell for him that afternoon. He slowly slipped straps off her shoulder and undressed her, while he kissed her. The curtains flew as the wind blew through the windows with sun Ray's entering the room as the curtain rises and falls. Dariya and Lu Han were drunk in love.
She curled up under the white sheets, her head buried in his chest, sleeping. She wanted to feel safe at shortest time she had with him.
Dariya was 12 when she grew close to Lu Han and he was 13. After the class when the kids went out running to eat street food, Dariya would watch them enviously, wishing to taste those. She was strictly prohibited from eating outside. Knowing this Lu Han would walk down with her pretending to be hungry and buy loads to eat.
"You hungry?" he would ask.
"No."
"I am. Bear with me." He would tell her and buy them all. Then He would take a long route to her home, walking, and sharing the food with her. She would be excited and eat full until one day they both were caught eating by her family.
Dariya had always wanted to go to school in the bike when all her friends came themselves. She hated being driven to school letting people about her background. But she didn't know how to ride one. she would sneak out of the house every weekend in the name of volleyball practice and order Lu Han to go with the bike to her school. She would learn and ride around the school with him, spend the whole day and go back home evening.
Dariya was 16 when the first time she took initiative and went to carnival land with Lu Han. He was scared of getting caught this time in the public place. But Dariya's guts and spirit made them spend another whole Saturday there. Dariya was so brave that she rode on all the dangerous ride and always made fun of Lu Han how frightened and funny he looked when they rode the rollercoaster and monster twister. And that time too, Dariya successfully got away not getting caught at home.
But that day onwards, Lu Han never saw her the same as he used to. His heart felt different when he watched ride the merry go round, he happy face waving at him. He sensed how things are going to be different from then. "You are like the shooting star to me Lu Han." She would tell him every time she does something she wanted to with him. "you made all my wishes come true. I make a wish every time I see one. but then you come to make everything possible for me. You really are my shooting star. One day I will give you something meaningful to you like you wish. Wait and see."
Six months after her the marriage at home, everything seemed different. It wasn't like she thought It would be. The table turned. The people changed. The only thing she had at home done at home was fight. Waiting for the weekend, Dariya would run to Mary's place until late in the evening. She shared them what was going on. Lu Han would sit with her and buy the white chocolates she loved. But she would cry. "One day I'm going to run away. So far away to a countryside where no one would come for me. There I would live in my own way in the middle of a mustard farm. With nature in peace, I wouldn't care if anything happened anywhere." She would say everytime she fought with her brother.
