Right when Ashe stepped out of the hospital after informing Saye, she coughed. The nurses came in and checked her vitals in worry. But after a few checks, they confirmed Saye was okay and ready to be left alone for the night.
Before the last nurse left, Saye caught her hand. The nurse, Macy, her ID card read, looked at Saye and smiled, "Good night, Ms Trenner."
She narrowed her dark eyes as if the action strained her, "Can I make a call?"
Macy hesitated for a while but seeing the pain in her eyes, she really couldn't say no. She had been admitted for a few weeks herself, before she became a nurse. And the loneliness…it was numbing. Macy looked around if any nurses were around then took her phone out to dial the number.
"Who to call?"
