"I thought you were here only for a month?" Ashe asked, staring at the extensive menu Jake had ordered for both of them. Her tummy rumbled just at the sight of all the delicious food laid out in front of her in the prettiest way possible.
She looked around and took a note of the café name. 'I need to visit this again later.'
Jake chuckled and took a sip from his morning coffee. It was only around 5:00 A.M. in the morning and it was still dark outside. The atmosphere inside the café was calm with slow music playing from the overhead speakers and the rich scent of coffee flourishing throughout the almost empty café.
The only sounds heard otherwise were the low chatter of a family at the back and the musical tinkle of spoons and plates from the pantry.
"Yes, I came in with the 11th Spider Mission Regiment," he admitted casually.
Ashe froze, her fork suspended in mid-air, "You're a part of those hellish Spiders?"
